About
La Cuisine is a French restaurant located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh city, designed to make you feel as if you were at home. The open kitchen gives you the opportunity to see the Chef and his team pamper you with a selection of mouth-watering dishes. Having worked in France, London, and São Paulo, Chef Erwann Serene decided to settle in Vietnam where he worked in La Camargue for the past 8 years. In 2009, he decides to open his own restaurant, and works on the La Cuisine concept, which is a mix of a home designed kitchen and trendy restaurant serving refined Mediterranean Cuisine. “Visit La Cuisine for a fantastic, reasonably priced lunch set or for a sumptuous dinner, be sure to make a reservation

Amazing welcome and service in a gorgeous teeny restaurant... and then the food. Wow! The scallops are just melt in the mouth delicious. We had the sea bass and the duck to follow, both excellent the sauces elevate the dishes beyond yum. Finished up with...coffee and mini desserts, again perfect. We will be regulars now, thank you for a lovely eveningMore

This lovely, rather small French restaurant in Saigon is an excellent place for a meal once one wants to try different food than the famed Vietnamese cuisine. All the items in the bilingual menu are traditional, well known dishes, but everything is well prepared and...wonderfully presented. Based on recommendations, we assumed great food, but the service exceeded our expectations. The waiters were very friendly, explained in detail items in the menu, and the service was impeccable. We were not particularly hungry, so we asked to share to share some dishes. The restaurant served those dishes in separate plates. Free, tasty bread with excellent butter was served, as well as some complementary "amuse voucher" Too bad we live many thousands of kilometers from Vietnam, because we would like to revisit the place, this time after fasting for a day. Prices, in Israeli terms, were very low.More

A small and intimate venue, I would advise those interested in eating there to make a reservations. One of us had the set menu with lobster: everything, from the soup to the dessert, was refined and flavourful. Meanwhile, I had the goat cheese salad, which...was just what I needed in terms of craving. The warmed buns were made from the best bread we tasted in the city: firm and fleshy dough as opposed to airy nonsense. These were nicely complemented by carefully chosen creamy butter. It is obvious that close attention is paid to ingredients. Of course, after the salad, I had enough “space” for the amazing dessert: a lava cake, which struck a perfect balance between the bitterness of the cocoa and the slight sweetness of the crème anglaise, all packaged in a perfect melting texture. Hmmm! The whole dining experience was enhanced by the perfect, elegant service.More

Went here for dinner with my family (party of 6) and had an awesome time. Food was absolutely delicious - from the start of the meal, the free bread is beautifully baked with the most savory butter. Other standout dishes include the foie gras, the...scallops, lamb chops, and sea bass. Highly, highly recommend. The restaurant has a really lovely ambiance - fancy French but not pretentious, still comfortable and casual. Price of the meal was also super reasonable - you would easily pay multiples to get the same level of food and service if this was in France. Also the service was truly amazing, our waiters were kind and patient, gave a great wine recommendation, and helped us to take some great photos of our dinner party, taking special care to get the best lighting and staging!More

Very good place for a cozy and delicious French dinner. No special dress code so you can dress up or be casual as you wish. Love the bread. Wine and dishes were simply amazing. Excellent services and reasonable priced too.

Had a lovely meal here as we needed the change from 12 straight days of Vietnamese cuisine. Loved the foie gras and braised beef cheeks. Topper was the host going out of her way to help us with cab back to our hotel. She even...called to ensure we arrived! Fabulous night.More

Charming French restaurant in district 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. Three separate rooms each one pleasant and not overcrowded. The menu was interesting and varied. We had baked goat cheese in a salad and Tuna Tartare as starters. Both delicious were delicious with different...preparations than I have seen before. Followed by duck breast in a mustard champagne sauce and a beautifully grilled local grouper. Our waiter was a delight as he was both attentive and a pleasure to chat with. Strongly recommendedMore

Superb french food & hospitality in an elegant setting Definitely the best french food we had in district 1 in many years! Don’t hesitate to go in if it looks empty They have just moved two doors down the road to extend their capacity and...the restaurant is spread over four floors with cosy dining areas. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Extensive wine list and menu to choose from. We will be Back soon to try some more... Today we had the scallops, tuna tartare, both would highly recommend. The beef for main course was cooked to perfection. Big merci to the owners who are there to welcome you almost every time including Sundays.More
