Great restaurant with a wonderful set menu. I walked here but got a taxi back but so worth it. They also train disadvantaged locals but trust me they have all learnt to be expert cooks! Hugely recommended.

This was perfect for what we were looking for our last night in Hanoi. Located opposite Temple of Literature it has English speaking staff and a menu with a range of dishes from steak, red wine, duck to the usual Vietnamese dishes. Good value as well. Staff are being trained to work in the restaurant business so are really attentive.... More

Excellent restaurant with great staff, so attentive and friendly, they have been given a great opportunity from being on the street with nothing to learning a trade and they love it. The menu has lots to choose from with reasonable prices, slightly higher than local places, but a worthwhile cause. Well done to Aussie who started this, "Know one, Teach... More

This is now my number one restaurant when visiting Hanoi - well, perhaps shared with about five others, but certainly up there with the best. The food is amazing. I need to try something other than the fish in banana leaf, but I drool for it when away, and it's the first thing I look for on the menu when... More

We went for lunch to this great restaurant last november and everything was really tasty. We tried some local dishes as fresh spring rolls and noodles and the whole meal was rememorable The service was excellent and staff was really kind. We had no reserve and easily found a place because we were two and it was really early, but... More

A bit pricy, but the place is nice and clean, the food is good and so is the staff. Everyone inside were tourists, maybe because of its location, just beside the temple of literature.

We were looking for at quick meal and found this restaurant here at tripadvisor. We all chose the three course chef recommendation for 300 000 dong. This was a really good experience. It tasted as good as i looks, and the service was very quick and presise. We also ordered drinks, and both the "gin and tonic" and the "mojito"... More

Recently we went for lunch here, together with the small sick daughter of one friend. This small sick child with serious kidney problems came directly from the hospital to have lunch here with us. She wished to have a tiny piece of cake displayed in the restaurant, but neither the waiter nor the manager accepted our order although there were... More

After one week working in Hanoi I spent my last afternoon in KOTO and was quite surprised! A refreshing difference to other Restaurants in the city! Clearly you can't compare it to the street food spots all over Hanoi, but nevertheless KOTO has an outstanding charm compared to all those Restaurant, that wish to satisfy European tourists and try too... We were taken to this trianing restaurant on the last day of our Vietnam, South to North Tour and enjoyed it. The staff were attentive, knowledgable and most were good with English as well. My only one dissapointed, net was the high price of drinks, otherwise a nice, promptly served meal.
