I can't speak highly enough about this place. The restaurant offers training for disaffected and underprivileged youth from the city to become chefs. We found that the staff couldn't do enough for you and were bright and eager to please. The food.....if you're from the...More

After visiting the Temple of literature we had our lunch here. It was expensive for Vietnamese standards but the food is more western style so the kids had a great lunch compared to other Vietnamese meals. Our guide from "Hanoi Free tour guides (hanoifreetourguides.com)" got...More

The food was excellent. I had river fish steamed with onions and spices in banana leaves which I would recommend. A main course and a small beer is about £7. Most of the patrons were tourists.

We came in looking for authentic Vietnamese food in a place that was relatively comfortable to eat in (proper tables and chair, clean, air-conditioned) and came across this place. Near the Temple of Literature (to its left). Food and service were great. Server knew english...More

Not only delicious food but cozy space is attractive. As it's very popular (especially among western people), it would be better to book in advance. I often take my friends who visit me to KOTO, and all of them love it!

I visited during the peak lunch period (12:30 to 1:30) and they were turning people away at the door because they were full up with both large and small tour groups.
