Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very fresh snails.. they don't have a lot different ones, but everything was great. This place is tiny though, and very hard to get seating. Just a few tables and it is full. Service is fast. The secret is their dipping sauce.. makes everything taste...great!More

The place is tiny even for Vietnamese. However, the food can make up for that. Just classic steamed snails with lemongrass, ginger, and lime leaves. Simply but delicious. The snails are clean. The fish sauce is not the best i have had but still top....We also ordered steamed clams with pineapple, Thai basil, and lemongrass. Remember to sip the clams juice which is slightly sweet and aromatic. Price wise, quite expensive compared to other snails place but since it's clean, we found it acceptable.More

The little hole in the hole was full when we arrived at about 6pm. We decided to wait and after a few minutes, they set up a 'table' at a staircase landing for us. We had the large snails and the steamed clams. We found...the clams to be ok but the snails which were boiled with lemon grass, lemon leaves etc were Super yummy. Even more yummy with the special sauce.More

Chanced upon this little shop after turning a few wrong turns. No regrets trying this! Prices are reasonable and the snails are fresh. The big snails and steamed clams go for 70k dong for each plate and the small snails for 50k. Compared to another...shop who quoted us 300k for a very small plate, this is very value for money! There was no fishy smell at all. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Went back 2 nights in a row to eat it and polished everything off. Alot of locals eat here, so this is a sure sign that this is an awesome find! Do note that they open at night only, but be early since their steam clams run out fast. I went back during the day before my flight to eat it, but sadly it was closed. Will definitely go back and eat it again when I'm in Hanoi!More

My bride was not excited about stopping here, mainly as free canapes and cocktails were on offer back at the hotel... Thanks to her patience I had a wonderful dish of large snails, from what I could see the snails are cooked in water, salt,...lemon grass, lime leaf and served with a wonderful dipping sauce made with diluted fish sauce, sugar, lots of chopped ginger, chilli, garlic, lemon grass and shredded lime leaves. Get here early because when they sell out they shut the doors, we missed them on the first try because of that reason. On the second visit they were full and we had to wait for a seat, glad I persisted. These tender and tasty morsels were to die for, yum!More

I came to this place with my sister, she always found out cool great place or simply female hobbies. At first i didn't wanna go because of snail, doesn't seem attractive to me. but I was Wrong. Surprisingly this restaurant cooks the food the southern...way. A little bit spicy :)) but we loved it. you can find it on Dinh Liet street and Ta Hien street acrossing This food can not be missed on the way!More

This is my favorite place to hang whenever I come to Hanoi, even though when I got all bored of the city. Just very simple dish, but so tasty in their own unique seasoning and boiled snail dish. If you're into local food, willing to...try different weird stuff and open to exploring new thing, this can be your thing. Me, I can't get enough of the snail and clam they have here!! Make me drool every time I think about it.More

They serve good steamed snails in small store, very good ginger sauce with chilli, a bottle of beer gets along, few tables indoor and outdoor, never mind.

They only sell ONE dish: boiled Snails but wow!!! What a taste. they cooked the nails with ginger, lemon grass and lime leaves. They offer a special dip sauce with the snails (nuoc mam cham). The place is always crowded, noisy, and a bit dirty....You have to sit down almost on the floor ground but look around you and it seems nobody cares, they just keep eating and talking. If you are not afraid of eating escargots/snails then you HAVE to try out this place...Highly recommendedMore
