As a local Hanoian, i go here very often with my friends. The best dish in here is Pho cuon - the fresh springroll of White noodle and fried beef, Pho chien phong, and many other dishes that you can try on. The restaurant near the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum so you can visit this after make a sightseeing of... More

Come there many times with friends, Huong Mai never disappointed me. If you visit Hanoi and you're not Vegetarian, would be very big regret if you don't try to eat Pho Cuon, Pho Chien Phong, Pho Chua here

Only a couple of dishes on a photo menu, frequented by locals and do not even think of brining a credit card! Good food, clean and we had so much fun that we returned. Do try the house specialities- just point to what the other people are eating. This is however not a coffee shop or close to the Old... More

Very busy and we were lucky to get a table. Very Vietnamese, which is a good thing. House special is 'raw spring rolls' -- very tasty

After walking around the entire old quarter, it is obvious that everyone has (more or less) the same variety of coffees to sell in bulk. Huong Mai is by far the cleanest and most professional shop. More than just a retail store- it's owned by the plantation, so you know there's a direct distribution path. There's a nice table where... More

As we know, Pho is kinda typical soup noodles in Vietnam, this shop serve the "dried version" of Pho, includes the spring roll which is pho uncut version wrap with beef, fried pho with spinach, and so on, all food here goes good with beer, and ideal because is cheap !!

Really not a restaurant but a packaged coffee shop. After buying packaged coffee here, was told by our tour leader that it is a 'tourist ripoff' place and that their prices are too high. This was confirmed by me later as I found the same coffee for much less. Also, the staff attempted to short-change me (unsuccessfully).

This is the place to score some really good premium coffee or green tea to take home. There are two locations in the Old Quarter, one at 15 Hang Manh and the other at 58 Ma May. And if yoiu ask nicely, they may make a quick expresso of the famous Vietnamese weasel coffee, made from coffee beans ingested by... More
