This is the place where you can kick back and relax. Just pull up a couple of foot stools and another for your food. The food is okay but what draws the crowds here is the cheap beer and the noisy lively nightlife.

Following a tip from my brother I went looking for the home brewed Bia Hoi. This type of beer can be found a lot around the night market. However you should not go for it if it's sold under 7000 VND as it might be recycled old beer. Here the Bia Hoi is sold for 8000 VND a glass and... More

Loved sitting here and watching the craziness go by! Quick service, cold beer, perfect!! We sat right out on the road, be prepared to be hassled by the street vendors selling popcorn, kebabs etc, they're harmless & generally move on pretty quickly.

Lovely refreshing beer and deep fried ribs! I don't mind em a bit greasy and there are well placed napkins to sort you out. Seemed very popular with locals at work kicking out time, we where the only westerners in there.

A place to go if you are in Hanoi for a beer, there's always a lot of people and ambiance. Cheap food and cold beers, what else do you need? Tipically you go there and drink a beer while eating sunflower seeds, but there's a lot of food choices. Good to hang with friends or your couple. There're a lot... More

There are many Bia Hoi Bars within the old City and not all may do this but beware of the cheap draft beer as what some bars do is collect all the left over beer then sieve it (cigarettes etc) and resell as cheap draft. This I saw happening first hand at one bar. Better to buy bottled beer which... More

Great place to try the local beer. It could be 0.75 US instead of 0.15 that I read, but beyond being really cheap it looks like it really has no preservatives as staying there for one hour I saw many bikers come and go to deliver beer. We didn't eat there but look good!

I live in Ha Noi. I am young and I love going out with my friends. One of the most interesting and common place for us is fresh beer in Ta Hien street- a small street in Ha Noi. There are a lot of restaurants in the pavement, not in a large house. You sit in the plastic chairs, order... More

Beer Corner was so much fun - awesome people watching as we guzzle cheap fresh beer. Don't be put off by napkins etc all over the ground - that's the sign of a good eating place in Vietnam! Although we weren't really welcomed in the locals hangout (by the proprietor - perhaps westerns are too difficult?) we still had a... More
