A must visit in Hanoi. 13 Trang Hung Dao. Arrived to a magnificent villa. Stunning food, fantastic service. Ambience great as well. Do not go past this for a special authentic Hanoian experience. Deborah from Australia!

Large colonial style mansion with beautiful rooms with high ceilings and pretty floors. The villa itself is something. Central location: Large and varied menu with lots of classics. Well executed. Reasonably friendly and attentive service though not reaching the highest notes. Good value.

A lovely spot near the Opera with a great little alley just around the corner for all kinds of cheaper local meals

After a water puppets spectacle at the Theater, we went to this great style restaurant. We had our dinner at the first floor (lavatories at the ground floor). Good food, good service.

The prices are surprisingly inexpensive relative to the location and the beautiful interior design. The indoors are air conditioned, the outdoor tables are stylist iron tables with white table clothes and reside under the shade of large trees. I had beef in oyster sauce, which was impressively tender – but the seasoning unfortunately left something to be desired.

Stopped here for lunch as part of a day trip seeing sights of Hanoi. Lovely old French colonial style building. This restaurant is at the higher end of the price range (from what we saw) and we found the different menu interesting. Not sure we would book for an evening meal as would want to see how many others in... More

It is not difficult to find good cuisine in Hanoi. If it is cheap, reasonable or expensive depends mostly on the place. Au Lac House is one of the places where you can pay more in order to enjoy the charm of place and the warm service. Amazing Green Mango Salad. In my three months in Hanoi I had dinner... More

Nice seafood, esp the salmon. Kids liked the sticky rice cakes. Limited vegetarian options. Ended up with doggy bags as portions are large. A bit overpriced but a safe bet for our first night out in a new city.
