Quiet restaurant, simply and tastefully decorated, and with a nice view of the Red River. Staff spoke excellent English. The food was very good. We ate Vietnamese cuisine and were not disappointed. I dined with a Vietnamese friend who found the food to be very...More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant, emphasising the view. It was ok, but during the day half the blinds were down so probably not worth it. The Pho has extremely chewing beef, so that was a let down. Definitely not the best pho I have in...More

We had a beautiful dinner here with a lovely view over the city. A great selection of local and western dishes. My chicken phó was excellent and Lily our waitress was a delight.

Waitress is kind and good in English with good service. This restaurant provides good quality and delicious Vietnamese food. For a foreigner, if worries about food qualities, you can go here to enjoy traditional Vietnamese food.

We stayed at the Hotel Hanoi Elegance which is downstairs. We walked through out the old town and markets and decided to go back to the hotel. We thought we might try the Restaurant and were glad we did. We had spring Rolls and the...More

There was amazing wine, great pho and they customized a few foods for me (as I am annoyingly picky) :) we would absolutely come back! This was our first meal on our honeymoon and the best start for us.

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday and I really couldn't have asked for anything more of the staff or the food - both were fantastic. We had booked in advance and they gave us a table by the...More

A small restaurant that provides excellent service and good Vietnamese food with a modern twist. Part of the twist is imported meat which is very tender and flavourful, also good range of western options for those craving a break from Vietnamese fare.

Had dinner at this place twice in three days because we were so enthousiastic about both the food as well as the atmosphere! Might not be the cheapest but more than worth it. If you want a nice view over the city best is to...More

As the title suggests, the food that we ordered was 'ok' - a little bit overpriced for what you got but it's the service that earns the four stars. The manager Hien was a delight and was knowledgeable about the food and also took a...More

SPECIAL: To celebrate the coming festive season, on 24-25 Dec and 31 Dec - 1 Jan 2017, we are going to serve the Special Set menus only. We shall send you a copy of the set menus by email per reservation request. Please kindly send your request to our official email address on this website. The Gourmet Corner restaurant located on the top floor of Hanoi La Siesta Diamond hotel, which boast the finest view of Hanoi from the 12th floor, overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake, the Red River and the ever-growing skyline of Hanoi. The Gourmet Corner food menu is the combination of Vietnamese and some Western favorites. Our Vietnamese food options mostly are the dishes from the North. In northern Vietnam, a colder climate limits the production and availability of spices. As a result, the foods are often less spicy than those in other regions, especially the middle part of Vietnam. Black pepper is used in place of chili as the most popular ingredient to produce spicy flavors. Also, coriander is used commonly in most dishes. In general, northern Vietnamese cuisine is not bold in any particular taste - sweet, salty, spicy, bitter, or sour. Most northern Vietnamese foods feature light and balanced flavors that result from subtle combinations of many different flavoring ingredients. PS: Please be informed that your reservation request by email will be answered within 24 working hours or later depend on our work-load at that moment. Any urgent booking request should be made through the phone call. We are sorry for any inconvenience may cause.
