Had a lovely meal here on our first night in Hanoi. Stayed at the hotel so it was convenient. Our waiter Eric was so good to us. Helped us with the menu and recommendations. The restaurant was on the 12 floor and had greats views of the city. The food was tasty, but it was really the service and kindness... More

We were staying at Hanoi La Siesta and this restaurant in on the 12th floor of the same hotel. Read good reviews about it on trip advisor - so went there for one dinner. We had local Vietnamese cuisine, and we asked them to suggest the best in seafood and beef. My son had spaghetti with chicken. However, we had... More

This restaurant is on the 12th floor of a hotel, and there are a ton of staff up there to help you in and out of the elevator, to the bathroom, to your table, etc. It's a little bit over the top! The prices on the menu are high, but we ordered vegetarian, which were decently priced (comparatively). The cashew... More

Went for Valentine's Day dinner, though this is a special restaurant whenever you go. Lovely food, great service, fabulous view, all for the price of a pub meal back in London. Special mention to Jeremy in the cocktail bar on the ground floor - an expert mixologist and really nice chap.

This place is nothing short of great. The people, the food, the ambience, the view, the cleanliness, the friendliness. Fantastic. I return here numerous times when just wanting to kick back, relax, enjoy great food and be confident that It's well prepared and my security is not at risk.

The waiters are very kind in this restaurant. Some seats have nice view, but some have nothing to see. The foods are delicious, above the average level in Hanoi. The napkins should be better, it looks a little dirty. Anyway, it's a good for diner if you stay this hotel.

They provide good service. The staff are nice. Their spring rolls and fried fish is recommended. We compared the taste of spring roll in many different places from luxury to low range restaurants, theirs is a must to try.

Situated at the top of the La Siesta Diamond Hotel in the Old Quarter, this place just oozes sophistication and elegance. The restaurant is small with an excellent ambiance and is perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The staff are attentive without being intrusive and truly make you feel welcome. We were there during the Tet holiday so only... More

We were served by Rebecca who was lovely and very helpful. One of our table had a birthday and they even sang a surprise Happy Bday song! Food was fantastic - rice paper spring rolls and Bamboo beef in particular. Setting is lovely, especially at night. Couldn't find a single fault with this place and the bill only came to... More

As soon as you step in to the hotel you know you're in for a treat, we were escorted up to the top floor and sat down by the window to see an amazing view of the city. The staff were extremely helpful and really easy to get along with. They even gave me a chocolate cake for my birthday!... More

Located on the top floor of Hanoi La Siesta Diamond hotel, the Gourmet Corner restaurant boast the finest view of Hanoi from the 12th floor, overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake, the Red River and the ever-growing skyline of Hanoi. The Gourmet Corner food menu is the combination of Vietnamese and some Western favorites. Our Vietnamese food options mostly are the dishes from the North. In northern Vietnam, a colder climate limits the production and availability of spices. As a result, the foods are often less spicy than those in other regions, especially the middle part of Vietnam. Black pepper is used in place of chili as the most popular ingredient to produce spicy flavors. Also, coriander is used commonly in most dishes. In general, northern Vietnamese cuisine is not bold in any particular taste - sweet, salty, spicy, bitter, or sour. Most northern Vietnamese foods feature light and balanced flavors that result from subtle combinations of many different flavoring ingredients.
