I don't understand the hype. The staff were surly and complacent, made no attempt to greet us and rudely pointed at a menu on the wall without looking us in the eyes when we arrived. Upstairs we were shoved into a corner and ignored by...More

Go here for the amazing egg coffee. It is like a cappucino but better. This coffee is a must try in hanoi!

Heard about this place from a friend and do my research about mr giang and egg coffee creation and was not disappoint. It's a hole in the wall and chaotic but worth the adventure. It's amazing.

The place that started it all! The absolute BEST egg coffee! Been here almost everyday (twice in aday sometimes...) during my stay in Hanoi, there is absolutely no match for the quality. Best. Coffee. Ever.

I was quite surprised to find out that egg coffee is more to custard. It's so smooth, creamy and super delicious. The shop is quite unique too.. I sat at 2nd floor, where they arrange mini tables and chairs. They have free wifi too! During...More

Egg coffee was super good, the best in Hanoi I had ever tasted, a must to try when visiting Hanoi! Recommend to try the hot version as the cold ones are slightly diluted with ice.

Try the hot egg coffee, it's worth it. Even in the Vietnamese humidity. Sweat your way through that creamy, delicious, caffeinated drink.

One of the oldest cafes in town and possibly is the first creator of Hanoi's egg coffee. The entrance is small and it is not possible to sit outside on the pavement like most Vietnamese cafes. The inside is kept like Vietnam's housing in 1980s-1990s...More

I'm not sure if they add condensed milk to the egg coffee, what I know is they add the blended egg on top of the coffee. But maybe you can request them your specifications.

Giang Cafe was founded by My Father ,Mr. Nguyen Giang in 1946, when he was working as a bartender for the famous five-star Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi hotel. Although the cafe has been relocated twice, its egg coffee recipe is almost the same as in its early days, with its chief ingredients being chicken egg yolk, Vietnamese coffee powder, sweetened condensed milk, butter and cheese.
