Hanoi Food Culture is nestled in a little alley. It's a modern, quiet and comfortable spot in the hustle bustle of Hanoi with a fantastic atmosphere. They had an extensive list of mocktails (try the virgin mojito), cocktails, beer and wine. Their food menu included...both upscale traditional Vietnamese food, which caters for a lot of dietary requirements. They had a nice vegan/vegetarian selection. They also had some Western dishes like pizza and pasta for those who want a taste of home. Our server Bao was so attentive and helpful. It was our favorite place we've visited for food on our two week vacation thus far.More

A place to unwind for a cute romantic meal, music sets the scene for sure. Bao was very hospitable and polite, ensuring the meal is going smoothly. Food wise… wow! So much authentic flavours that burst into richness! Highly recommend the Caramalise pork and fish...in the clay pot!More

This spot is amazing! We were served by guy named Bao who was very welcoming and served us with a smile. The food was amazing - recommend the fried buffalo. The portion is perfect 😍 and the vibe is like we back from the past.

Roza was our chef. She graciously taught us how to prepare different styles of food but also explained the culture of the food and region. Roza was an absolute delight showing us the local street stalls. But the highlight was the the fun of preparing...the food and then the enjoyment of sitting down for lunch and savouring our food. A delicious experience.More

This gorgeous restaurant is tucked away down a quiet lantern lit alley in the heart of the Hanoi Old Quarter. Great vibe inside on the 2nd floor and a great menu for both meat eaters and veg/vegans. The vegan Pho broth was so flavourful and...my husbands grilled chicken with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves was the best tasting chicken dish he's ever had! Amazing service too - our waiter Bao was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!More

Excellent choice of dishes, very well prepared and presented. Bao is a top-tier waiter who paid attention to our comfort and full satisfaction. I would definetly go there again. I have to take one point back because I personnally don't like being asked to leave...a review but this is a matter of taste.More

After checking in at my hotel, I decided to walk around it. There is a small alley near it and saw this restaurant. It was crowded when I first saw it, had vacant tables after five minutes. While waiting for my foods, the people seated...next to me started smoking. I asked to be moved to their non-smoking area which they gladly granted. I ordered a dish made of pork belly and some other type of meat served with brown sauce and rice. The meats were very tender and flavorful. The wait staff was friendly and speak English. Will definitely eat here again before leaving Hanoi!More

What a great find. Amazing food and wonderful service. Ngan was brilliant! We never had to wait for anything and totally on the ball, probably the best service we had in Hanoi.

For the price you pay, the food is very bland. I had pork on Bamboo with rice noodles and it was cold an tasteless. The green salad was just som leaves. I had to eat with a knife and fork when it clearly would have...been better to use chopstix. My friend had the honeyglazed chicken and that was also very bland. Was basically like eating chicken and rice without spices or sauces. You can find much better places in the old quarter for a third of the price.More
