The decoration is very old and unique. Beautiful restaurant, taste of fish is nice, the nems are crispy. Recommend to make a reservation for table downstairs.

Very delicious fish tumeric dill and a great experience. Also very good fresh juices. Nice and friendly staff. There are more locations.
We went here for dinner one night. They only serve one thing, Ca Cha. Along with the fish dish, you get some noodles, sauce, peanuts, and spring rolls. It was good, not my favorite meal in Vietnam, but not bad at all, and a fun...experience. I would recommend that others go here if they like fish and want to try something a little different.More
The restaurant staff told us they only serve three dishes. We tried two of them. The catfish lightly fried with turmeric then mixed with greens, spring onions, dill, rice noodles and peanuts was the best meal I had in Vietnam. There were also fried spring...rolls stuffed with fish which were delicious. I am grateful we found this place and tried one of the signature dishes of Hanoi.More
Friends recommended this restaurant to me and I wasn’t let down. There is only 1 dish on the menu: Cha Ca, a traditional Hanoi dish made from marinated catfish. This is then fried with lots of dill and served with rice noodles and accompaniments such...as chilli, fish sauce and peanuts. The meal also includes 2 spring rolls plus sauce. The cost is 175,000 dong (about US$7) per person and you cook up the fish and greens in a frying pan on a gas burner on the table. It was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would do it again without a second thought.More
This restaurant is an incredible experience. They serve only the one dish, Cha Ca, and it is a fun enjoyable sharing family experience.
if you want to try some thing authentic, this is the restaurant to go to. This was my first time trying this dish and it was really good. They are busy almost all of the time, but can seat you right away. If you like...shrimp paste sauce, you will love this restaurant.More
There is really only one thing on this menu, but that's all they need. A sterno burner is the middle of the table to keep everything hot and fresh. Really a good option if you are looking for fish.
Every trip to Hanoi, this is a must eat local food. There are 2 and both are good. This was my 3rd times eating & I keep enjoying it.
For tourist they have one item on the menu which is the fish. Loved the entire experience and flavors. If you eat beef or would like anything else to be added kindly mention it. We had no issues with the service. Enjoy the Michelin recommend...spot!More
Good taste, I love Vietnamese traditional food, I alway take 2-3 course each time I came here. Hope u guys enjoy it
We arrived at the restaurant at around 4:30pm, for an early dinner. Which worked out great because by around 5:15pm/5:30pm, it was really filling up with people. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and the waiters are helpful and responsive. We had read many great...reviews about Cha Ca Thang Long, and the reviews are absolutely spot on. There is only 1 item on the menu, which is the set, so you cannot go wrong. We had never eaten anything like this before. When we think of Vietnamese food, fish isn't usually the first thing that comes to mind. The fish here is so moist and packed full of flavour, as it is marinated in turmeric, giving it a nice colour too. In addition to the fish, you are given a huge bowl of dill and chives, which really bring out so much aroma and taste in the dish. The set also included fried spring rolls, which tasted great too. The server will show you once how you are supposed to prepare the Cha Ca, and will prepare 1 bowl for you first. It's pretty straightforward, and the taste is absolutely phenomenal. Definitely one of our favourite meals in Hanoi and we can't wait to go back!More
