We found this by chance as it came up on a search of restaurants near to our hotel. It is down a side alley, but there is a gentleman sat at the entrance on the main street who points you in the right direction. During our stay we went twice. The food was excellent - lots of choice, which was... More

Very nice food and good options for vegetarian, food had good taste and good proportion for the price. Worth every penny, we have been there twice and service is ok. Staff can be nicer but overall is good. They speak English as well.

After reading good reviews, we thought we'd try it. A nice clean restaurant with fast service by totally uninterested staff. We both thought it was vastly overrated. Dishes needed much more flavouring and for the tofu in tomato sauce we had to order salt, lime and chilli to give it flavour. The 'beef' in ginger wasn't bad. Vegetable and noodle... More

Not the fanciest surroundings, but great food for a good lunch or dinner. Even as a meat eater, I found the flavours fantastic. Don't go if you are looking for luxurious decor etc., but we had great vegetarian food at a good price.

I usually prefer somewhat more upmarket vegetarian restaurants to com chays, but I went to this one because of the good reviews. I had a fixed menu for 80.000 dong, which gives a variety of dishes on one plate. Most dishes were alright, but not that special. The tofu with tomato sauce was exactly what it says. The 'chicken' simply... More

This place is tucked down an alley but well signposted from the main street. The menu is extensive and it took us a while to decide. We ended up by ordering the fresh spring rolls, potato fritters, mustard greens and lotus root. We accompanied everything with steamed rice. Although the food is not pretentious, the flavours are homy and tasty.... More

We went to this restaurant twice during our trip and tried both the 60,000vnd and 100,000vnd sets. Surprisingly, the cheaper set appeals more to our tastebuds and we're so impressed with the rice- slightly chewy with the right moisture😋 This is the only vegetarian restaurant that uses mock meat in their dishes as the rest we went to in Hanoi... I loved this restaurant! It is somewhat difficult to find as it is down an alley. However the sign is visable from the street. Food is very well priced and there is lots of it. Staff are helpful and polite. Some food is made to look and taste like meat. But there are many options that do not. My partner... More
