We were guest at the Legend Metropole & had diner at Le Beaulieu. We chose the 6 Course menu which was a mix of Fusion & Vietnamese. The food was ok, the dishes had that modern food looks but it all seemed to be missing...More

This is probably the most expensive meal you could eat in Hanoi and one of the most expensive brunches you will ever eat but it is without a doubt the most decadent as well. The most amazing selection of food - from salads and crab...More

As the breakfast is included in the hotel rate I can't say if it's a good value or not. But the food itself is grand--ample, varied, delicious. Caters to all kinds of palettes from Asian to continental European. Beautiful presentation of everything.

A great French restaurant but it is not cheap. I'm glad we are here for the experience and atmosphere. While the food was good, it was very pricey. I probably would not return. But it was worth one visit. Sitting at the tables outside on...More

Admittedly we chose to dine on the night of a visiting chef accidentally depriving ourselves of the chance to try the coq au vin but the food was not befitting the very elegant venue. Service was good although it was hard to understand our waiter's...More

I wanted to treat myself while in Hanoi and this consistently came up as the best Sunday brunch. I had a reservation for 12, but showed up at 11:30. Rather than seat me and bring me a coffee while I waited for the brunch to...More

Very elegant restaurant. Guess I was surprised the "classic French" dish as described on the menu - Coq au vin, had oyster mushrooms, so not so classic. The crab starter was vey good. My friend's foie gras and the duck main were also very good.Wine...More

Our party of 6 ordered different meals and everyone was disappointed. My chicken breast was in a soup, the steak was tough, the guests who ordered Asian dishes were also disappointed.

What types of raw seafood do they have? How is the quality of the oysters? Where are they from? Is there a selection of caviar? Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks.

I did not see any raw seafood nor oysters on the menu. I had the crab with celeriac remoulade and it was good. No caviar on offer either.

Renowned for its exquisite French cuisine - perfectly crafted in both flavour and presentation - multi-award winning Le Beaulieu has for over a century been the venue of dazzling soirees and sublime Sunday brunches. Wine connoisseurs will find pleasure in Le Beaulieu's impressive wine list featuring selections by our passionate Head Sommelier. One hundred years old like the hotel, this mythical dining destination frequented by war correspondents (Graham Greene, Lucien Bodart...) and also politicians, entrepreneurs and diplomats is directed by head chef Olivier. The decor is a unique Sofitel blend of Indochinese ambiance and French sophistication: marble and wooden parquet floors, large windows overlooking the street, soft breeze wafting from the ceiling fans, lit by chandeliers at nightfall...
