There are five 42" TV's showing sports from around the world including: A-League, AFL, NRL, SupeRugby, EPL, Bundesliga, Formula 1, V8 Supercars, Moto GP and Superbikes, Golf and Tennis. There is also a very popular Killer Pool competition every day from 8 pm, with cash prizes for the top 3 competitors, each game lasts roughly 45 minutes. We serve genuine spirits, very cold beer, nice wine, great cocktails and crazy shots (such as our infamous 'Hand Grenade'). We also have a full Thai Menu with bar snacks such as Aussie meat pies, toasties, spring rolls, Nan's Fried Chicken (NFC), french fries and egg banjo's available and a FREE Sunset BBQ (minimum spend 141 baht) 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).

Restaurant run by a very kind and cheerful family where you can also take part in Thai cooking courses.
The dishes are all very good indeed excellent generous portions I absolutely recommend it

As roasts go this is the one to beat. It's on a Wednesday so doesn't clash with anyone else's, booking is necessary before Tuesday 7pm. Arrive at 6.30 pm service at 7pm. It's a choice of chicken $2.50, pork $2.50 or lamb $3.50 (if enough people pre order). Help yourself to roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, broccoli, sprouts, peas various sauces and gravy. After you've finished your plate and still hungry then help yourself to some more. The host and staff are friendly and attentive. It's then followed up by killer pool if anyone's interested.

Very, very tasty, huge portions, the most delicious tom yum of my life! The prices are reasonable compared to the rest of Patong (150, 180 baht) if you order shrimp, there are a lot of them, and not a couple of pieces as usual. Definitely recommend

Simply delicious food. Always delicious. Penang curry is a favourite and the prawns were big and succulent.
I hear they are closing in Phuket and moving to Hua Hin. Our lose and Hua Hin's gain. I'm devastated.
The free BBQ ( as long as you have a few beers) is another winner.
We loved going to the Wednesday roast followed by killer pool. I'll miss the hospitality shown by Dave and Nan and all the staff.

Great place. Dave Nan and the girls have a very welcoming environment. Nan and Kob cooked us some sensational meals. They will go the wet market and get your seafood fresh. Dave’s famous “ Wednesday Woast” as he calls it is great value your choice of meat + all the trimmings enough to feed and army and it’s less than $15 pp AUD. All the live sport you could ever want and really entertaining killer pool comps. Highly recommend this bar it has become our regular.

Group of four of us met Dave and his wife who is the chef (owners) in town and he invited us to try his bar and restaurant. Well it proved to be our luck that our paths crossed as the food is sensational. Seafood was brought fresh from market as when we ordered it and prepared like a 5 star restaurant wonderful experience. Then we settled into the hospital provided whilst watching line spots on TV followed by music videos etc. great night had by all. We’ve been back twice and was just as good.

Brilliant English owned bar and restaurant with very friendly staff. Lots of choice of different dishes from all over the world. I chose the Chinese menu which would recommend the chicken spring rolls for freshness and my wife had thier well known NANS chicken which is highly recommended to the point we will be returning before our trip is over! The portions are the biggest we have had here so far

Ordered penang curry with chicken. First bite had quite a big bone fraction and raw piece of chicken. Then after eating few mouthfuls, turned out that multiple chicken pieces were almost fully raw.
At first this was fixed by the waitress so that they just gave some extra heat to the same serving chicken which is not ok if the raw chicken has been lying there in the sauce already longer. Place owner handled the situation better by requesting new serving to be made but meanwhile waiting steamed rice got fully cold.
Friend took fried rice chicken which was ok. Servings didn’t have typical level of spiciness and no questions were asked how spicy the meal was wanted to be.
Overall not the best experince as never got raw chicken in Thailand before and having been there travelling more than 3 months in total.

We went here for the Wednesday Woast...yes, its a roast dinner in a Wednesday evening, starts at 19:00. You should call ahead and book if possible. The food is lovely, it was great to have some nice meat, veg and loads of gravy!! It is done as a buffet so you can get lots of veg and the meat portions were huge (with the offer of top ups!!). 250-350 THB. Well worth a visit

Headed to the Halfway Inn after booking in for Wednesday Woast! Full roast dinner with plenty of food to go around. We chose chicken and pork but after everyone had finished their first meal there was plenty of other meats to choose from for round 2. We really enjoyed the family atmosphere chatting with other ‘friends’ who were regulars at the Inn. Dinner wasn’t the end of the night either with a great knockout pool competition afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed our night and wished we had longer in Patong to try Nan’s cooking classes as her Thai food we’d been seeing on Facebook looked amazing. Will have to go back!

Visited this restaurant a few times during my 7-day stay over New Year. The breakfast was outstanding and had excellent value for money. The staff were efficient and friendly. Dave and his lovely wife Nan were excellent and attentive hosts which really added to a highly enjoyable and relaxed dining experience both at breakfast and dinner. Sadly, I didn't get to enjoy the Wednesday Woast but it will definitely be a must for my next visit. Excellent value for money on both food and drinks. I highly recommend it.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the food was AMAZING. You wouldn't necesarily think so after looking at the place, but once you order, the food is FULL of flavor. They even let us play a free game of pool, while we waited for our food to be cooked. The restaurant was a little off the beaten path and you have to look inside to find a posting of the name, but it is definately worth the search. It is very close to the beech. Couldn't recommend this place enough, if you're looking for delicious, authentic thai food in Patong (or a good game of Rugby on TV or a game of pool) The prices are also very reasonable.

You need to get here around 6:30 pm to ensure a seat, listen to a short welcome speech from the boss (Dave) at 7 pm, then get in the queue before all the balloon chasing, 'KEE NEOW' cheap Charlies clear the lot!!! The Halfway Inn has a great atmosphere. Dave, Nan, Danny and their staff are always welcoming. The Food is delicious with a wide range of western and Thai food on offer. We went to the Halfway Inn for Christmas dinner which was amazing. I'm looking forward to going backing.

Fantastic thai restaurant / sports bar with warm atmosphere as british owner Dave welcomes everyone personaly and gives great first impresion, that all your wishes can be satisfied, just say if you need to prepare meal somehow special for youself.
And mainly you can watch sports and eat delishes thai cousine all together.

Outstanding Thai Food
If you love Thai Food then you must visit Halfway Inn.
Authentic food made with the freshest ingredients and love.
Nan cooks the food and husband Dave is a great host. Staff are attentive.
You can rely on getting spice as requested … mild medium or spicy.
Shrimp Cakes and curries are standouts.
