We highly appreciate excellent service and help when our taxi didn't come at appointed time. You can feel attention and care from every member of the team. As for the meal, unfortunately the selection of sea food was not wide that day, since we expected to order lobster but there was not any on the menu. I personally enjoyed my fish which was mildly spicy, tasty and very well served, which means that meat was easy to eat because it was thoroughly separated from the bones. Deep-fried squid was somewhat chewy and nicely decorated prawns were too spicy for our taste. For dessert my son ordered mixed colour balls made of rice wheat boiled in coconut milk. He liked the taste and texture. The restaurant has also a winestore with a good selection of wine. Overall impression is that it is a nice place to visit once you are interested in Thai cousine with guaranteed freshness of ingredients and family like atmosphere, but it costs some extra money.

Quite a fine dining experience.
It was worth going slightly out of our way to enjoy the ambience and professionalism of service at this welcoming establishment.
Suppatra’s very congenial partner describes every dish in careful detail ,helping to match dishes to individual preference.
We ordered four starters and five main dishes for four people and all were very well prepared and presented. There was a clever mix of potency and subtlety to many of the flavours.
Considering all of this, a nice bottle of wine and a few beers , the bill was surprisingly light.

We visited this restaurant on our first night and it set the bar for all subsequent restaurants during our week in Koh Samui. Excellent selection of wine. Sophisticated cooking of Thai food. The fish and seafood very fresh, sauces with no heavy sugar taste. Service excellent as well. All in all a fabulous meal.

This restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, with Suppatra doing the cooking. Her husband is a most delightful host, lovingly, patiently, and informatively explaining each dish as he runs down the chalkboard menu, which changes according to what is the best and freshest Suppatra can find at the market. We ordered three starters and three mains. Minced pork laab in balls, chicken satay, and fried shrimp in fine Phuket noodles, and then Australian lamb tenderloin in massaman curry, grilled Australian beef with chilli and cucumber, and blue crab in southern curry and wild betel leaf. Included was excellent wild rice. We finished with homemade coconut ice cream in a coconut shell. We had emphasized that we wanted truly spicy Thai food, which seems to be more and more difficult to find as chefs seem to be toning things down to satisfy tourists. We got what we asked for and could not have been happier. The food was wonderfully prepared and plated. Everything was a fine dining experience of classic Thai dishes. The restaurant itself is a lovely and comfortable outdoor space. Servers are enthusiastic and friendly. Prices were remarkably reasonable, being more or less what one pays in an average Thai restaurant. We thought this dinner was easily the best we’ve had so far after two weeks of a monthlong trip. Suppatra, by the way, is a sweetheart as well as a talented chef. Sensational.

It was a suprise birthday dinner for me organised by my partner in this family run, fine dining establishment. We were first greeted by Thomas ( chef Suppattra’s husband) who personally wished me a happy Birthday and went through every single dish in the menu with extreme detail. The restaurant went above and beyond to make my day special with decorations on the table and the perfect view of the mangroves. It’s very close proximity to the airport so every now and then you would hear the sounds of the airplane flying through which is part of the experience I would say. Food was mostly western with a touch of Thai spices to it, chef suppattra personally came to our table to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommended place to dine when in koh samui. Staffs were polite and ever so ready to assist. A truly memorable experience. Thank you team !

Very friendly and efficient staff- and able to view the food preparation. Super menu choices( once each dish has been explained in detail!! ) Ambience is great and so nice for the chef to come and have a word.
Only drawback was trying to understand the broken English of some of the staff when explaining things

The best dining experience we had in Samui. All the dishes are fresh, flavours are all well crafted, wonderful plating and great flavours. Talented chef for sure. A lot of thought was put into each dish and it was an amazing experience. The lamb massaman was one of the most memorable dishes we had. The restaurant also boasts an extensive wine menu and they seem to also run a wine shop next to the restaurant. High quality wines at that too at fairly fair prices considering it is Thailand and you are on an island. It's not a big restaurant so reservations are recommendable but it's worth it. Prices for the food is fair. One thing though...the service staff can come across slightly pushy when it comes to ordering booze.

We were recommended this Thai fine dining by our Air BnB hostess. As the restaurant was just reopened after the lock down, we were the only guests so practically a Chef’s table. The deco is warm and friendly, not formal like what typical fine dinning places usually are. The food however lives up to fine dinning quality indeed. The highlight was the crab curry. We ordered more …
There was a large selection of wine from the sommelier. If you are after Thai cuisine, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely go back next visit to Samui.

My wife had never been there and my last visit must have been a couple of years ago. Passing it we took a chance without a booking, but since we were early, they were happy to accommodate us.
Good size car park - nice interior - very friendly staff and a Supattra’s cooking is still outstanding!
We shared two orders of the spicy herbal meatballs and crispy squid, which were very nice with the accompanying sauces and then for mains we shared a fish (boned but kept in one piece) with a nice curry sauce and Lamb fillets cooked perfectly pink with a rich Massaman sauce around it: delicious!
Extensive drinks and food menu with many specials that the staff explain in great detail!
It will definitely not take me that long to come back again!

This could be the no 1 restaurant in town. Supattra is a nice casual, cosy restaurant, where you can go with family, friends, or a date.
Agreed with many other reviews, drinks here are surprisingly good. We stayed at ritz Carlton with several restaurants there but still made effort to come here 2 night continuously. It is about 10 mins taxi from Six Sense n Ritz Carlton to Supattra.
Starters: deep fried squid and meat ball: both are very good;
Main: blue crab cary and grilled king prawn with green salad are super;
Grilled fish in banana leave is not good - that fish is too smelly to cook it that way.
All staff are super. I saw some negative reviews but these are mainly because they couldn’t get a table.
If you happen to be in town, must give it a try!

Cozy restaurant in a wooden Thai style house overlooking a garden, extensive selection of wines, fresh local sea food, lamb and beef.
Freshly prepared.
I recommend the blue crab curry dish. Exquisite.
The owner, chef and staff pay immaculate attention to safety with all protocols in place.

An exquisite restaurant with both incredible surroundings and cuisine presented in an extraordinary fashion. The staff are extremely friendly and serve food flavoured to perfection. Despite all our positives views, our only complaint is the level of ventilation; since it’s located in such a humid area the heat was a small problem, however the food made up for it. A particular member we liked (Kiki) served us with both excellent food but also excellent attitude, which was entertaining for particular family members. All in all, our visit was a great ending to our stay and is a recommended restaurant.

Come to this place for the ambience and staff. Thomas is funny, intelligent, energetic, and thorough with the menu and wine list. He has a passion for creating the best guest environment. His wife Supattra is humble and sweet and came by to ask about the food.
The food is not the typical Thai food of noodles, curry, or grilled seafood. Dishes are much lighter and fresh. I wasn’t blown away by the food more bc of my preference. But blown away by the staff, ambience, and experience. You will have a great time.

Homemade Thai food with some of Organic ingredients.
Large selections of wine list ,Chef and husband are friendly and attentive.
Good staffs service. We have almost all menu both food and desserts.
For the main that was kept in the Thai family-sharing style, we gorged on all main course menu different shared dishes that came with cooked-to-perfection brown and jasmine rice.

Ansolutely wonderful dinner with family. Great authentic and fresh Thai food. Great service and beautifully introduced the filosophy of the restaurant. They use only fresh and wild fish and seafood. I can highly recommend this restaurant!
