They openly say they don,t like foreigner customers because foreigners complain, in fact when they make mistake they don,t want to admit and they always bring starter to the last or in the middle of the dinner, when you tell them they don,t like it, it happens all the time. They always bring the food first and the rice a... More

At this restaurant you can order normal Cantonese dishes or dim sum dishes or a combination. This was our second visit and we ordered dim sum dishes. All dishes were excellent, easily the best Chinese food we've come across in Chiang Mai in 4 years. The service was good but a smile would have helped sell himself and his service... More

The restaurant name 扬子江 (simplified Chinese) in common English is Yangtze River that flows through Shanghai in northern China. Odd that that name was chosen for a restaurant serving southern Chinese Cantonese cuisine. I sampled the Shanghai dumplings (xiao long bao), har gow, and shrimp and chive dumplings (my favorite). There was three each in a bamboo steamer, and various... More

A friend recommended this restaurant to us and said if we might need decent quick dim sum, noodles and congee in Chiangmai, this will be the one. After a easy stroll in Nimman area, we paid a visit at almost 2p.m. The restaurant was quite quiet at the time. Only one table at the main dining room. We simply just... More

I was told by my wife that we had to eat at this restaurant as it was promoted on some Thai TV channel. Wow, what a disappointment. When we first arrived there, even my wife wasn’t sure anymore if we should really eat there or just find something else. Anyway, sometimes the interior of a restaurant doesn’t have to reflect... I am not sure why do most review states that this restaurant serves the best Dim Sum. The Dim Sum was very horrible when compared to Dim Sum that I have eaten in Hong kong and Singapore. The custard bun seems to be factory made. It wasn't even watery at all. The shanghai dumpling was tasteless. The fried dumpling tasted... More

This is possibly the best Chinese food in Chiang Mai. We go there for great Dim Sum lunches and Great Dinners. The Dim sum is at a high level and though not inexpensive quite delicious. The Best Dish is the The Peking Duck. It is crispy and marvelous and they will make the rest of the duck for you in... More

They have a very good and fresh seafood in Canton style. Also roasted pork, duck is also very special dishes. The most popular appetizer is chicken with liquor and jelly fish with spicy source.

Nobody speaks any english here, didnt understand water. This is normally no problem if they are serviceminded and willing. Here everything took forever and the ambience was pretty bad. We ordered 7 dishes( i recommend to order 1 or 2 before going all in) and one was good, some boring and some not good. Crystal porc was not good, fried... More
