Very nice restaurant

We've been to Lapin a couple of times now - once out of COVID-19 (when it was very crowded) and more recently with COVID-19 precautions in place. Friendly welcome if you speak some Thai, and food was excellent. Felt safe and well looked after throughout. Popular with the residents of a couple of residences nearby. Car park hard to find, but at the rear. Strongly recommended for good quality Italian food - not cheap, not exorbitantly expensive

So happy I found this place.Service as amazing as the food.

I ordered the special of the day and it was delicious. The place itself looks like a regular/not good cafe, but the food really surprised me.

A good find and a change from Thai food

As it happens our apartment is a 12 min walk from here so we stumbled on it through Google maps. It is modern, air conditioned and spotlessly clean. We both had Pizzas for a change which together with three non alcoholic drinks came to THB 675. Which at circa £8 each is about average considering the venue upkeep. The food was good and the service excellent so like Arnnie “we will be back”.

The most unwelcoming restaurant

Overpriced and lacking in how to treat and deal with customers... staff where ok just the old lady that is manager and maybe owner she never smiled or looked happy to see us when entering the restaurant..very rude I went for cigarette she followed me and watched me through the glass door just incase I run away lol come on.... 750 baht for small pasta dish and small DRY pizza 1 leo there are cheaper and nicer welcoming restaurants too go too. WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS WITHOUT US YOU WOULDNT HAVE A RESTAURANT BE MORE POLITE AND WELCOMING I live chiang mai and I won't be back.

Miserable restaurant

This is so far the worst Italian restaurant .... There are no highlight on the menu.... i was struggle a bit what to order ..... To be honest, an Italian restaurant without Risotto and Minestrone are not fit to be Italian restaurant .... THB 250 for a taste less spaghetti in the city of Chiang Mai was way too over price ... Will never visit or recommend to any one ...

Love their pasta and pizza

Best home made pizza in town and I mean it. I’m local and love Italian food. They have pizza wood-fired oven. If you love thin pizza, this is your restuarant.

The best pizza I’ve had in Asia in months, tastes a fair bit like Pizza Express (UK) nice and thin, freshly baked and lovely service. Cheesecakes are good too!

Tasty Lunch

Visiting the NEW location for Lapin. One junction away from Maya Mall. Very nice. Good Layout of restaurant and Great parking available. Meals are made fresh. Know for their Great Pizzas. And airs on a Healthy Menu. Children are well catered for.

We loved this place. Great atmosphere, extensive menu, delicious food, first class service. Just outside downtown Chiang Mai but worth the trip.

Nice place good pizza

Are there with family and friends . Great little place with good staff and clean amenities . Pizza and pastas were good with no complaints at all about the food . I'd recommend if needing a change from Thai food

Hidden Gem with Great Italian and Other Food

Lapin has ambience (cloth table linen) and great Italian food tucked on a small lane just off busy Charoen Meuang Rd near the Naorowat Bridge. (Cross the river if you're coming from the Thapae Gate direction.) I go there at least once a week and bring a friend. Best Caesar salad in Chiang Mai. Tasty salmon. Lovely pastas. Terrific pizza. Good service. Try the crepes suzette! Also has outdoor seating in the back. Ask servers to help with parking.

We were welcomed and made comfortable, the service was good (if a little clumsy, new girl) The food was above average and enjoyable. The house wine was good enough The only negative was they brought us a dish that we thought was part of the Antipasto, so we started eating it, but they had made a mistake and apologised. They did charge us for it though, which maybe they should not have done

I used to take my kids to this place several times a month. But today would be my last time. I invited my friends ' family for a dinner. Our kids(2-4 yrs old) were having fun and making quite a lound noise. The waitress came to us with moody face and said" Would you stop making a noise as other customer were upset already? Therefore, we decide to move outside at the back of restaurant which no other customer!! Still, after a while the chef whom is the owner came to us and told us to stop making a noise becuz he cannot cook??? Gotta tell you i've been trying to tell my kids to tone down their voice several times already. We knew what we should behave in public place but i wonder if the owner knew what he should or should not say to his customers.Definitely not recommended this restaurant for family. Bad service.
