We came across this little French restaurant by accident. We had the fries & cheese platter. However we wanted to order many different things but none of which were available. This lost me & I doubt if I would come back. This place has potential but failed to rate higher due to the lack of available dishes.

Well located with a beautiful terrasse, european and thai dishes (no MSG), try burger and home made French fries, chicken/pork steak, massaman and more. The french boss is helpful if you need some advices and to finish your meal, enjoy the simple coffee, "café gourmand" or crêpe to excite your taste buds!

The food is really good with multiple choices and remains "family cooking style". The products are fresh and expectations are reached.

One of my favourite places in Chiang mai! The food is simply delicious, tasting like at home - I'm French. On the other hand, the Thai dishes have also been praised by Thai friends. The menu offers a large choice and the plates are generous, at the image of the owner who always comes to you for a chat. A... More

We live nearby and are regular patrons of this establishment. Have tried everything on the French menu and it's all superb. Special mentions are the farmer salad with Melted Camembert baguette, the precariously towering smoothies and the incredible burger. We really cannot say enough about the burger. The homemade French fries that accompany everything "magnifique".

On my next stop along the random eats tour of Chiang Mai, I visited Elysa Restaurant. You will want to try this place! Upon walking in, I was greeted not only by the very friendly staff, but by the patrons along my path as well. But not in English... nor in Thai. But in français! What a great surprise. This... More

Prices are very affordable. The boss is always here to help you and give you a lot of informations and good plans for your trip Chiang Mai. That restaurant... More

Went there for lunch today after many previous visits and got chatting to the French owner who encouraged me to try the Welsh Rarebit. Wow! Big meal. Made with 140gm of cheddar (apparently) and the fried egg on melted cheese on ham on toast was swimming in a soupy sauce made with belgian beer, worcester sauce and mustard. Best I... More
