Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An oasis of calm, cool and beauty which we stumbled on during a scorching morning. It’s on a hot and bustling street near several markets

Very beautiful, peaceful cafe. The tea selection was great and so was the food. Great place to eat and drink. I recommend the spring rolls :)

This place looks so beautiful, we were really excited to come and try out the menu, especially as they offer an afternoon tea. We arrived at around 11:30 to ask if we needed to book or if we could walk in later. We had to...stand around for a few mins before someone came over and then we were told it was okay to come back later. When we arrived at around 4:25, the same staff were working. We had to stand around for a while again before someone asked us what we wanted, despite only two people being seated. When we asked for afternoon tea we were told that the cut off for afternoon tea was 4:30. It was 4:33. I understand that there may have been a language barrier and that is not the staff’s problem, but the entire menu is written in English? This information could have been included on the menu, not to mention that we arrived before 4:30 and were standing around for some time. Really disappointing as we travelled back for this and had specifically dropped by in the morning to ensure we would be able to come hereMore

Took my son for afternoon tea whilst on holiday in CM. I visited this tearoom ten year’s previous and enjoyed it. The afternoon tea wasn’t the best. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The scones were more cake consistency and bland in taste (I’m from...the Uk and have had my fair share of good English scones) the cakes on the top tier were pretty average. Lovely setting but I probably choose something else on the menuMore

We stopped here for a cold drink on a very hot day, on a walk up Tapae Road. It is located at the back of the Siam Celadon shop, and there is also a jewellery store inside. The setting is delightful, a very pretty tea...house with a garden and seating outside as well. They have a good range of teas and other drinks. We didn't sample the food but other customers were having snacks and lunch.More

Raming Tea House is a lovely 1915 colonial-style white building on Tha Phae Road, which serves on and sells Siam Celadon, with both indoor and outdoor places to relax.

We stumbled upon this beautiful old house by chance and fell in love with it. The front part has a gallery for a local style of pottery with a gorgeous glaze, while the back part of the house is an elegant cafe that extends out...into the luscious tropical garden. So you have 2 beautiful areas to sit and relax while enjoying a wide selection of teas, coffees and fruit drinks. We shared our find with another couple who when they found it also fell in love with it. Almost don’t want to put it on Trip Adviser so when we next come back, when everyone is travelling again after Covid , it’s not packed and we can have to ourselves. It was our pick of the cafés we visited.More

This pottery store, jewelry store, tea house is beautiful and all sorts of amazing! The food is fantastic and the garden is a must experience place to eat. In the heart of the tourist chiangmai area. As you walk into the garden you forget their...is a busy street just on the other side of the building the traffic just seems to melt away. The chicken satay is amazing and the butterscotch sundae is to die for! While your in for food you might as well purchase some of their hand crafted pottery that is only made there.More

This is a hidden gem as the food is excellent , taste and presentation are 5* and the service is great. I'm sure due to its lack of on street advertising it remains off the tourist track plus the Tea house may deyer the younger...generation (good for the foodies who frequent it). Colonial style building with the restaurant at the rear behind the shops and gallery. The garden is shaded and cool to sit in. The food is excellent value for money with excellent breakfasts, curries, and afternoon teas, the shakes are also worth going for. It's now our daily breakfast stopover.More

I took my wife here early one morning because it was around the corner from the Warorot Market. We stepped into the back tea garden and were immediately smitten! This serene, lush garden was cool and shady, and we forgot we were in a city...for a bit! The black tea was delicious, and we enjoyed our time so much we returned 3x! I recommend the American breakfast if you're hungry, or just the Continental if you only need a croissant with jam 😊 If it's hot, the iced cappuccino is superb.More

A charming oasis in the heart of Chiang Mai that we stumbled upon while visiting this beautiful city. The shop inside is filled with handmade crafts and the drinks and food were excellent.

The garden is a joy, full of little gems like a water feature and tiny statues of children swinging from the trees. The menu is varied, with European dishes too. Mid-priced, high quality and very well presented. Tasty. There's also Celadon porcelain on display.

This restaurant has great ambience and has a variety of different eating rooms, some of them air-conditioned. I don’t know about you, but I like to enjoy my meal in a temperate climate. We came as 3 couples and asked to be seated in the...private tea room. The food was exceptionally authentic Thai with generous portions at a very fair price. Don’t forget to have a Thai tea and save room for dessert! #illbebackMore

there are large AC units inside so you can get a cold table, it's hotter now than in January during our visit but it's still cool indoors.
