This page on TripAdvisor is actually for the restaurant at the Kalare Night Bazaar, which is labeled "Food Center" and is near to the D2 hotel. There is another page labeled "Night Bazaar" under "attractions" which is for the night bazaar itself. The food at the food center is very decent. We had a nice meal there. Very, very cheap.... Busy hardly describes it. Tons of stands for shopping and tons of opportunity for reasonably decent massages and reflexology treatments at a very good price.

There were a few nice crafts but most everything seemed like mass manufactured junk. We did not see much of interest.

Don't get here before 6pm as the stallholders will still be setting up before that. Plenty of bargains for the tourist to be had here as well as many restaurants / cafes / pubs to cater for all nationalities. Parking is a bit of a problem if you drive there - best to take a tuk tuk as they can... More

Must do when in Chiang Mai. It's really big with lots of stands of all kinds - food, drink, souvenirs (mainly genuine hand crafts from local tribes).

As this Bazaar was just accross Le Meridien where we slept, we had some meals here. There are many different types of food stands, from exotic meals, to fresh fruit smoothies and so on - prices very low, food fantastic - you buy coupons so there is no cash involved;
