Rengaya is on the Second Floor of Thaniya Plaza amongst the array of Golf Shops. It is easy to find as it is pretty much straight in front of you as you come out of the lift. I had read that the food was good and that the lunch sets were great value. However, my first visit was for dinner.... More

Fantastic! It's surprisingly yummy! We ordered Kimchi soup and many kinds of beef and steak . The sauce with garlic and chili is a lovely match with the beef. Can't imagine can try such authentic Japan cuisine in Thai. Heard the owner is a Japanese. O wonder. And last but not least, it's really value for money and a must... More

We really enjoyed our dinner at Rengaya. However, we got lost finding it. It's in the Thaniya Shopping center on the 2nd floor. We ordered 2 different meats to bbq and the curry udon. All very delicious. The special bbq sauce was also delicious. At the end they gave us complimentary fresh fruit. Very nice place!

The only Japanese style charcoal grill that I am willing to come every time I visit Bangkok. The best thing about this restaurant is their special sweet sauce which you need to order otherwise they will give you regular soy sauce.

The food is good as always. Conveniently located on the 2nd floor of Taniya Plaza. Variety of meats to choose from with good grades of beef. The salad is very yummy. The service is attentive and quick. However, just one complain on the ventilation system. The restaurant is full of smoke and i have tears in my eyes upon eating.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in Bangkok. I like it because the pork there is very yummy. I have been there for so many times with my family. It open only 3 or 4 hours each time. We get to grill our own pork. The tempura there is also yummy. Everytime we go there we get to eat... More

This is one of our favorite J+K grill in Bangkok. Good food, good value, good service. However, we were there recently (Jan. 2014) and saw all the staffs running around the restaurant trying to serve everybody. There's a shortage of staffs since several of them has quit due to some problem from the management. Some of the staffs have been... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
