My wife and had our pre-Valentines dinner at L'Opera. It was everything we wished for. Superb food, excellent service, great wine list and a romantic atmosphere

I have been living in Bangkok for 23 years and have been passing by the ristorante more than hundred times and another fact is that I dine out daily basis since no food at home :) Last Saturday I casually stopped by at the ristorante for lunch, just condemned myself what's on earth that have I missed this joint well... We keep going back to this place since it never disappoints us. The dish that requires am exceptional mention this time was the squid ink sauce pasta. It was very good and I am already longing for more. The pasta was cooked just right, al dente and the sauce was fantastic. (texture and smell)

The competition looks a bit different than it did when open. You can find really good Italian restaurants in Bangkok nowadays, O, can hardly be included in this collection anymore. Still with impeccable service is anything less than super friendly and efficient. The food feels a bit heavy-handed, and the kitchen needs a regeneration. The interior feels like a pastich from... Food is ok but really expensive, even in this Sukhumvit area. The location smells of damp Would not recommend the place as you got so many other choices in the area

We went to this restaurant 4 times and have never been disappointed with the wine and food we ordered. The ambience is nice and food is always good. It is a bit pricey but it is not more expensive than other restaurants that have similar food and ambience. Strongly recommended.

Another fantastic dinner at Le Opera. The food was cooked to perfection with quality ingredients and flavor. Bjorn and the entire team never miss an opportunity to enhance the evening. Love their extensive range of gins with Monkey 47 with tonic a favorite.

Description
The L'Opera experience has the exact mix of culinary excellence and great service with a warm and welcoming relaxing atmosphere. Here you will enjoy every occasion, from the grand celebrations of life to the everyday lunch. We try our best to make it an unforgettable event. L'Opera offers a wide selection of luscious mouth-watering dishes from the Tuscany kitchen, and there are frequent updates to the menu, to tempt the taste buds of the regular visitors. Our food is MSG free and all the important ingredients are imported; From the dried pasta 'Rustichella D'Abruzzo', to the peeled tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella and other assorted cheeses, to the cured hams, olives, capers, fish and seafood. Some essential dessert ingredients such as chocolate, mascarpone, and Savoiardi Ladyfinger biscuit are also imported. We stock a very wide selection of top class international wines, with emphasis on Italy.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
