This was once a great place to experience Thai dining in the center of Bangkok. Now sadly just average, two items not available, sauces and food lacked depth of flavor. Service was always poor, but you could put up with it as the food used...to be excellent. Now poor service and average foodMore
Great food and lively busy atmosphere. Close enough to Soi Sukhumvit to get some of the atmosphere but not so close to get the exhaust fumes. Service is brisk and business like and prices are low. Highly recommended.
Food was better than average. However service attitude is no good thus the one star rating. Good Thai food is everywhere is Bangkok. Service staff took the wrong order. Argued that we “pointed” at the wrong photo on the menu. Refused to take it back....Told us we will be charged even if we don’t eat it. I won’t recommend.More
My husband regularly visits Bangkok for business and stays in a hotel around the corner from Suda. Im sure it's because of the food. Some times you may have to wait and sometimes not but it's worth it. Not the most clean cut area but...the locals love it. The manager, a lovely older lady who always smiles when my husband visits. She calls him Mr Tim 😁 Nice cold beers tooMore
Went here first night in Bangkok as close to our hotel Rembrandt. What a way to start holiday! We managed to get table quite quickly and the menu was lovely. All dishes came quickly and the meal was very cheap. Restaurant doesn’t look much but...is fantastic!More
I came to this restaurant many times between 2008 and 2010 and decided to pay a return visit. Almost nothing has changed including the older Thai Chinese matriarchs who are still busily serving people. The older one must be well into her 80s or even...90s but still seems to have the energy of a 30 year old and does not seem to have aged in the last 14 years or so. The location is perfect and just off the main Sukhumvit drag. The restaurant itself is basic with plastic bowls and plates but the food is delicious and carefully prepared. If you like fine dining this place is probably not for you but if you enjoy a varied menu with all your favourite Thai dishes and a splash of Chinese, with prices that are unbelievably cheap then Suda restaurant is for you. As we were leaving about twenty people were eagerly awaiting tables to become available. That's how good it is.More
Bad service Food for tourists only Rude waitresses If you wanna try the authentic Thai street food, just cross a road and go to the foodcourt at Terminal21 mall.
Very good quality price , I am coming time to time It is restaurant , quality is very good , simple hidden place and always busy I will be back
I have been here maybe a dozen times. Never been disappointed. Good food, very nice atmosphere as usual. The elderly lady that runs the place is just so nice and friendly.
Basically across the road from Terminal 21 shopping ‘expensive’ centre this extremely open Thai restaurant, very affirdable prices and very goid food - assuming you like Thai food of course! Recommended indeed
Great restaurant for cheap, quick and tasty Thai food. Cold beer, nice food served up with a smile. Mix of locals, tourists and expats but all treated the same. Mix of inside / outside but large area and street quite quiet so you won’t feel...crowded if you sit out front. I ate there 3 nights out of 4 on a recent business trip as couldn’t find anything to match it in Sukumvit area. Two courses and a large cold beer for Bhat 350.More
Suda is a gem for people who want real Thai food but not from the cart along the streets. No fancy restaurant, but basic, good food, share a table with others and pay the right price.
We loved place! Location was great & very close to our hotel & terminal 21. Always packed, full of both Thai’s & a lot of foreigners. Small but great authentic menu. Very good service & we visited more than once during our visit. Recommend the...Chicken wrapped in pan Dan leaves.More
Food was OK and wasn’t expensive but with this place’s reputation and constant demand I expected something better. Nothing special. I had been told it wasn’t as good as it used to be though.
