This was the second time we've visited Pla Dib. I think the food is even better than the first time. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Great beers too. Highly recommend this place

Love coming here with friends and share various dishes to optimise enjoyment. Wasabi mashed potatoes and the super thin pizzas were our favourites!

We were invited from friends to this place without really knowing anything about it. Well ... we were blown away. They serve a fusion between Japanese and Italian but with a Thai twist. As many reviewer pointed out, they menu might sound a little confusing. However we were pretty intrigue by some of the dishes listed. We ordered a a... More

I was invited to eat here by my local Thai friends and turned out that the place is really nice. It's not that spacious, but great for hangout with friends with good food selections (Japanese-Italian fusion). I really like their signature sashimi (fresh prawn, octopus, tuna, and salmon with some sauces), it is very recommended.

"Cool", crowded and some comfort food. A variety to choose from, mostly Japanese fusion. There is pasta and pizza ( thin crust but not crispy and chewy); the angel hair is more like the thin Chinese egg noodle in terms of texture and look. The taste, however, is quite good (for the Thai tongue); we ordered the simple bacon with... More

Pla Dip, opened, owned and organised by former architect turned chef, is one of the very few restaurants I've visited where the Pizza is as good as the Ceviche or the grilled Barramundi. Add a super friendly team, realistic prices, the wonderful owner, an industrial interior that convinces because its everything but trendy and you know why Pla Dip remains... More

Aree is one of the best areas in Bangkok to eat. It tends to have rather sophisticated Thai diners who really enjoy their food. For a modern restaurant to do well around the Aree area, it has to provide great food in a great atmosphere with great service. Pla Dib does just this. The menu crosses cuisines creatively and does... More

My friend took me here. I love their wood fired pizze, and salads. But what really hooked me on this place and make me want to come back is their chicken wings. Everythig was nicely done, including the sushi. Service is fast and friendly.

We used to frequent this local eatery when it opened almost 10 years ago while there weren't any cool restaurants in Ari. But we have never been impressed by its fusion confusion food in miniscule portion (with the exception of the salmon larb), especially its overpriced, tasteless pasta dishes like angel hair with ebiko and its mediocre sweets. With increasing... More

Visited this restaurant with a group of 4-5 for dinner. Wood-fired pizza, salads with a flavorful kick and an affogato-inspired dessert were my favorites from the menu. Highlights: - wide variety of food items on the menu, everything from pizza to sushi was well prepared, fresh and tasty -great laidback atmosphere for al fresco fans -live DJ -wood-fired oven for... Staying in Ari

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
