The main house is only for private functions. But the front of the house serves a lovely egg noodle soup as well as several varieties of papaya salad. There are some Thai desserts as well.

This is an exquisite setting by the river. We reached it on the Siam's lovely little launch, which took us on a half-hour river ride to dinner. The food was excellent, but they were trying so hard to be perfect that the service was a little slow.

This restaurant no longer open for public. Currently, they do private functions only. It is a good place to have your wedding reception.

This place always reminds me of eating out with my grandma. Crab craw is delicious.

This place knows how to cook crabs, they sun-dry it to the point that crab meat doesn't stick to the shell. Their crabs run out since mid-day time. Another signature dish is chicken rice.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
