I had really hard time find this place. The weather was killing me and it was freaking hot day. But when I taste first spoon of soup, I melted. Loved this place, and I'll definitely visit here again.

Simple food done well. The dipping sauces are particularly excellent. We had the grilled pork neck, nam nuang (pork patty Hanoi style) as well as som tam (pappaya salad). All the dishes where tasty and fresh. This place is very simple with small tables and chairs but there is a reason the locals love it.

No aircon. Tight seating. No matter. But tasty dishes, yes. And ceiling fans to cool you down. First, go to the right address: Section 4, Soi 48/3. Their seating wraps around their corner. Saw some folks move away from the tables nearer the street. May be was the heat or exhaust. We're pescatarians so the salads and spring rolls hit... More

I managed to stumble upon this little hidden treasure during one of my trips and it got me addicted to the dishes ever since. Firstly, let me share with you the accurate address with GPS reading so that you won't get lost in the CTC maze. It's Dinphow Thai-Viet Cuisine - Section 4 Soi 48/3 (GPS:13.798278, 100.551060). If you have... More

We found out about Din Pao from Bangkok.com/magazine otherwise we would have never come upon it as Chatuchak is so large. People do know about it as it was packed when we ate lunch. The space between tables is tight made worse by the space taken up by purchases people bring to the meal from the weekend-only market. The tables... More

Soi 48/3 We found this place by following crowds. There were many local diners besides tourists. It offers a variety of Vietnam cuisine and Thai cuisine. The menu has pictures and English, so you don't have a problem ordering. The food is awesome and the price is affordable. Everything is about 60 baht.... More

The address of this place is Section 4 Soi 48/3. It faces the main road. Great food. Although Vietnamese and pseudo-Korean, it's strangely Thai. Can we unpleasantly warm and humid.

Not that easy to find, but tucked alongside the bustle of streaming shoppers at Chatuchak Weekend Market is Din Pao Restaurant, a truly great little place to eat fresh Thai/Vietnamese food. It's more or less 'outdoorsy' - open, but covered with tarps to keep rain and sun off your back. Get a map at one of the market’s main entrances... More
