Nice food , a bit more expensive than the average Thai restaurants in the area . Portions quite small . Nice environment with live music the night we visited the place .

We had dinner at the Mango Tree we had a massaman curry and a red curry. Both with chicken. Very flavourful though not the nicest pieces of chicken. Dessert of mango sticky rice, which was nice, and stewed banana with coconut milk and palm sugar. Banana was still hard and sauce was extremely sweet. But perhaps this is how it... More

We were very disappointed. This restaurant was VERY overpriced because the food was just ok and the service was not helpful or friendly.

The location is a bit far away, but the environment is very good! Good food, staff are nice and the toilet is very clean!

We were directed here by the concierge But the only good part is the friendly service. The food was barely average the waiting time very long. I don't recommend

This very nice garden setting with a fish pond offers a quite, pleasant surrounding for eating. The place was not busy at all when we accidentally found it and came in for lunch. However, the service was very slow. We got one dish we did not order and most was plain ordinary. With Thai food and this setting Mango Tree... More

We had dinner at the Mango Tree tonight after coming across it by accident after taking a wrong turn but I'm glad we did! The restaurant has water fountains with large goldfish and a live band who were also very good! The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was amazing, with a wide choice of Thai dishes... More

Great casual spot for a drink or dinner w/ a very tasty green curry w/ lots of flavor... live jazz trio playing to boot adds to the outdoor courtyard ambiance...

Our local Thai friend took us there. A very cozy restaurant with very very tasty Thai food. The raw shrimp was delicious. Other traditional dishes are also very tasty. If you want to taste local authentic Thai food while in Bangkok. This is the place to go.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
