Yea I know wine is really making it big here in Thailand at the moment but there is definitely some catching up to do in the service and knowledge departments. neither my waitress nor the others could answer my questions about where the wine was from or what food pairings they would suggest. kinda disappointing when my bill for 2... Walked into this restaurant because the one we were going to was closed. The wines by the glass did not look that inspiring but the one I had was quite serviceable. Enough so that I ordered a second ( McGuigan shiraz for 150 thb) As for the food, we were expecting cheap bar fare thus the benchmark was set kind... More

I have visited this restaurant a few times on trips to Bangkok. Unfortunately it has always been during times when the City had political demonstrations or floods. Hence, mostly empty but I find it a rather relaxing place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice selection of reasonably priced wines from various locations. Most, if not all, times some dishes... More

We were staying at the Holiday Inn located above this wine bar and we got 10% discount off drinks. The staff were very attentive, particularly to my mother who is in her 70s. The food was okay: some dishes better than others but they do offer a wide range of wines. Unless you were staying at the HI, you'd probably... More

Not the very best Wine Bar in Bangkok, but if you are looking for cheap (and decent) wines for around 150bht per glass, then this place is ideal. Food wasn't bad either, its just a mix of everything ( Thai, Mexican, Steaks) but I would just go for the Thai stuff!

Stumbled on wine focus after an hour of walking in 5" heels looking for another restaurant. Wine focus is a cute place with excellent service but the food was just not that great. The wine was also just ok. I think it's better if you are looking for a place for drinks- wine specifically- but I wouldn't recommend it for... More

this wine bar (serves food) is right next door to the Holiday Inn, by that i mean its less than a min out the back door. good selection of wines and much cheaper than the holel, you can sit out side which is nice but can be a little noisy from the traffic - but not a complaint. have been... More

"Wine Focus", a wine bistro with Thai and Italian dishes. Lots of choice for wine lovers from every corner of the world, Italian-French-Australian-New Zealand-Chile-Germany and so. We like Thai dishes here, very typical with not too spicy as well as tendeloin steak served with vegetables and garlic bread. Locating downtown of Bangkok, at Holiday Inn Silom Rd. The manager of... Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
