nice place to chill out.... get those meaty meaty dishes will be worthy. For dim sum..all were good.......but avoid the melon ice blend drink as too much sugar added,if possible just plain ice water will be good there.

Great place for dim sum! We tried over a dozen and wasn't disappointed with any of them. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Good ambience, pleasant efficient service and good quality dim sum make this one of the best places for lunch in Chinatown. An extensive menu features Chinese, Thai and Western food. Portions generous, prices reasonable.

I don't know..was looking for a place to eat, besides street food, which we love..Kinda tired, and found, on a map, Canton House. It was hard to understand/read the menu. It was a bit upscale?? for us...The food was good, but no reason to beat a path back to. Did love the AIRCON, and beer...Next time, street food. The bathroom was... More

I was staying in Chinatown and asked my hotel if there was a good place nearby for dim sum. She recommended Canton House, which was conveniently located across the street from my hotel. From beginning to end I had a good experience there. I haven't had a lot of dim sum experience, mostly just on some work trips to China,... More

We were in Chinatown and had planned to eat lunch at T&K. But we found they don't open until late afternoon. On to Plan B, which was to have shark fin soup at Nam Sing based on TA and extended family suggestions. But we found that we had already eaten at Nam Sing two or three years ago and left... More

There's not many actual restaurants in China town Main Street food I normally look which is busy and full of locals, but we got hot walking about and air con was greatly received. But they had run out of lots of things (even mixed veg? Apparently, no cocktails ) and the staff looked like they couldn't care less. The prawns... More

Great restaurant just a stones throw away from the busy Chinatown. Very friendly staff. Great dim sum and very reasonable. Dim sum was around 30 baht for 3 pieces.

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
