The restaurant was welcoming with its cozy ambience. We chose 2 sets of 299b and 1 set of 499b to be shared amongst 3 ladies. the 299b set had an appetiser and one main, and the 499b was an appetiser, main and deserter coffee or tea. The minestrone soup was very good, as were the other appetisers. The calms in... More

We visited this restaurant on the basis of the trip advisor review during our last night in Bangkok and it was really a great experience. The food is very genuine and very well cooked, true Italian style (said by an Italian): ingredients are top quality. We have eaten pizza, fritto misto and pasta with seafood; we ended with ice cream... More

We are there during our stay in Bangkok. Service was outstanding as was the food! The pizza was to die for. The wine list was extensive and gave accurate descriptions of the wine! We are returning to Bangkok later this month and will definitely dine there again!

Found on TripAdvisor, again, and this one is really worth it. We arrived with no reservation and were lucky enough to get a table as a party had not arrived. We shared the Fritto Misto to start and then both enjoyed the excellent Sea Food Risotto, all washed down with a good value Sicilian red. The total cost was 3500... More

My husband and I ate at Il Bolognese on Sunday evening. The restaurant is located down a quiet soi, there is a sign that alerts you where to turn off Naradiwas. They take reservations, which we did not have but were seated promptly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a neighborhood family restaurant atmosphere (in a positive... More

I have been twice with friends, one of whom is a regular customer. The pizza crust is perfect. Had the sage raviolis. Subtle and tasty. Brought our own wines, and the corkage fee is reasonable.

Staff serviced very good, always attending! We were there just some minutes before closing kitchen! Food was good. And a complimentary limoncellos at the end of the dinner! The bill came with extra 10% service + 7% VAT, maybe we missed that info from the menu!

Description
By Customer Tripadvisor review...

This smallish, cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of the city offers some of the best Italian food in Bangkok. Situated in a stand-alone Thai house, it has both indoor and outdoor seating and a room for private parties. The prices are average but the food is exceptionally good. There are weekly specialties on offer but the standard fair includes homemade pastas, salads, antipasti, fish, beef, lamb, chicken, and, of course, their famous pizza. They also have homemade desserts and an impressive wine list as well as a fully-stocked bar. Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
