We tried this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. It's a bit hidden away from the street, but there is a sign on the main street itself. It has a nice setting and ambiance. The set 5 course (which is now 1375 TBH) is the only option. Each course portions are modest, so the meal was perfect amount... More

This place is hid on a small corner street and it does not impress by its settings. The only offer a set menu (we paid 1350B for each person) with 5 courses. We absolutely enjoyed every meal we've had. Food was well prepared, beautifully presented and flavorful. This is not a high end restaurant so do not raise your expectations.... More

The experience at La Table de Tee was beyond lovely! Before the meal, online reservation was fuss-free (easy for tourists) & restaurant was easy to find (some places in BKK is really difficult to get to & cab refuses to take us!). The food was really outstanding! Out of the 5 courses, you get to choose between 2 options for... More

This was our second visit (after 4 years) to Table de Tee. Unlike the first visit we were very disappoinot as oointed on this occasion; service was not as organised + the quantity of food was a desaster. For example for the "main" course I got 2 slices of beef measuring 3x6cm and 6mm thick - not acceptable. The bill... More

We found this restaurant randomly after my husband read about it on a blog. First of all, booking a table was very easy though the restaurant's online booking system. Then, when we actually walked into the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Then came the food, which litterally blew my mind. My husband and I both chose the... More

Went on a recommendation and was thoroughly impressed by our meal and the service. They brought us home baked breads that were still warm and very good. Although a set menu, there were some choices and I found it difficult to choose as they all sounded delicious. They also gave us a pre desert that was mouthwatering. I'm very glad... More

We tried this restaurant because of TripAdvisor reviews. It was also conveniently around the corner from our hotel. Not impressed by their booking arrangements. We booked on line and despite them sending me 2 reminders when we arrived they were not expecting us. HOWEVER it was not busy so that was fine and they made us very welcome. The food... More

I am generally not impressed with a set price dinner, but La Table de Tee is an incredible exception. With a new menu weekly the chef provides a constantly changing section in their five course dinner all for under 1,500 THB per person. The night we were there the menu included river prawn, tuna, snapper, tomato risotto. lamb and Tasmania's... More

I booked this for dinner for my husband and I based on the very high ratings on TripAdvisor. It was a waste of the 3 dinners we had available for our short stay in Bangkok. The restaurant is nothing like a chef's table nor does it feel special to be on one of the handful of tables there. Service was... More

Small restaurant, serving 5 courses meal - food is always delicious, relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. I'm a regular client of this restaurant, always enjoy my time with friend here, the food is fantastic with reasonable price. This is not fancy restaurant, if you like small, chic and cozy place to hang out this is a place for you. Reservation... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
