The setting is homely, warm and welcoming. Traditional offerings cooked very well. Best to travel there by BTS. 3 minute walk from the station. Fresh ingredients. Discrete friendly service. Serves could be bigger but that is a minor problem. All the food was tasty. The...More

Excellent Thai restaurant a bit off the main road. Very nicely decorated with cozy feeling. Authentic local dishes at very reasonable prices. We picked this place for the convenient location just few minutes walk from the Divana Spa. So glad we chose this restaurant instead...More

Should have made a reservation beforehand. When I open the door of the Thanying, I realized that every table is fully booked. Staff advised I need to wait for about an hour. As I really wanted to have dishes here, I decided to wait anyway....More

Excellent ambience, service and dining experience. Loved the extensive menu with some of the dishes, especially yums and curries that you don't usually get from other restaurants. Quite rich in terms of flavour, but tailored to foreigner's taste bud. For me, it's a lil pity...More

Thanyong is a little off the beaten track, but it is well worth the trip for good solid Thai food in a traditional restaurant. The name of the restaurant comes from the sister of the queen married to King Rama VII, who reigned in the...More

First time trying this Thai Royal Cuisine in town. Pre-booking is required. Limited car parking. It's recommended for family, especially for the grandparents to make them feel like their time again. Also, for the tourists who want to feel the Thai traditional taste.

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
