We had a fantastic nice evening with 6 friends. Food was delicious, wines good and service friendly. Setting is nice. Well recommended for a nice evening out with delicious food and good price ratio. A clear recommend. To give some constructive feedback and improve to perfection I would have following comments; - Service is too pushy with filling up of... More

Last July we had a fantastic dinner. Starters, main course and dessert were all delicious. Chef Luca knows how to make you happy with his specials of the day. Ask him. Great food

Having been looking forward to visiting here for some time , the food was a letdown, pasta undercooked basically raw . Main course no seasoning , and as noted previously I didn't see the head chef in the kitchen the whole time I was there . Having sent back full plates of food , you would of thought the chef... I was excited to visit La Bottega di Luca in the Thong Lor section of Bangkok based on the high reviews in TA and the impressive looking menu online. We arrived a bit early on a Wed night and were promptly seated to a nice table inside. We were immediately served some delicious bread sticks and bread complemented by olive... More

Been coming here for a long time, and just noticed that the menu has changed - we decided to just share lots of dishes between the 3 of us; great choice. We still had our old favourite, the scmorza cheese starter, but then tried lots of different starters, all were good. Oh, plus one main course, the house special risotto... More

This Italian restaurant stands out in a sea of Italian restaurants in Bangkok. Luca the Chef/owner has lovely fresh dishes with an imaginative menu. The restaurant is down soi 49 just before Samitivej Hospital in a small outdoor shopping centre. I absolutely love sitting on the outdoor deck hidden in the back it is a true oasis. Try the mussels... More

Bangkok has many Italian Restaurants but this one stands out. It has the best genuine Italian food, you name it. It is quite a cozy place, not big but compact yet very quiet and enjoyable. The owner Luca Apino, (a fun guy) himself would appear most of the time to check your needs.. so, service is superb. The food is... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
