It is always nice to be greeted by two ladys over 80 years each. The staff is young flexibel and friendly. The food is traditional thai and there is always to much on your plate. I am not in favor of the fish dishes although my wife likes them. The reis in all variations and the grilled lobsters on the... More

We've visited this restaurant 4 times in the last 2 years when in Bangkok and love it we walk from Sheraton (5 mins) it does now have a sign on the road it's on as the first time we got lost trying to find it. It's not a modern restaurant if that's what your expecting I think it's an old... More

Lovely little restaurant tucked away on a side street. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Great price too.

You walk down Soi 22 and a sign appears "Harmonique Restaurant", enter "opening" to be greeted by a bygone era with various eating rooms and areas. Order taken and food brought to outside table in reasonable time. Good variety and well presented

Had dinner here a few colleagues during our last visit in Bangkok. The setting is nice in a colonial style house with lots of outisde lighting and a big tree at the entrance. It's pretty close to Silom Road. We had booked a table outside. The food was very good, apart from the green curry which was really bland! Try... More

We were recommended Harmonique by family members who were in Bangkok for 3 months on business and went several times. We've been a couple of times, and love it. It's a bit out of the way, down a side street, based on a row of shop-houses knocked in together and furnished with 'antiques' for sale. The menu is long, and service from 3+... More

The food quality was poor. The service was extremely bad too. We ordered 3 sets of appetizer, THB 250 per set for 2 people, we ordered 3 sets they charge us THB 800. It's a small difference but when we try to explain with waitress, they just reply with bad tone and said 6 people has to be THB 800.... More

This open air restaurant (there are fans everywhere that might prevent you from sweating) has a very pleasant atmosphere, however, it feels like a touristy eatery. The Thai dishes are far from original, well adjusted to suit Westerners' taste. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, however overstretched as it gets rather busy. Is it telling that not a single local... More

Expected to have a lovely meal after being recommended by the Peninsula, turned out to be disgusting. The service was abysmal. Not a smile on anyone nes face despite the "land of Smiles". The fish was thick with a gloopy sauce . I was unable to eat it. The first meal I have ever refused to eat.

We have visited before on previous trips to Bangkok but I have to say the current cheap is really good. We had six different dishes ( you can order small or large of the same dish which is really nice ) and all of them were excellent. Served piping hot and with a smile. Price was very reasonable my only... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
