Traditional Japanese restaurant since 1976. We order half portion of Fatty tuna sashimi ,come in 4 mouthful pcs, with good quality. Clear Soup of shabu is tasty and refreshing. But sushi that night is like other restro. Will go back again to try more.

This is a great place for Japanese food. The sushi and sashimi were so nice and generous that we didn't get to the mains! Great service.

Just went back 11 years after my last time here. Used to come here for lunch every week, from 1999 to 2002 as I was working nearby. Some renovation works changed the ground floor layout but one can still feel the same family mood and kindness. The menu offers typical Japanese food and you can choose from local fish or... More

Really good authentic Japanese food. We had edamame, fried prawns, scallops, California roll and nigiri. It was all delicious. Very fresh. The servers didn't know any English but it didn't matter. They were all very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed our meal. Be aware they close at 10pm. We arrived around 9:15 and they served us. The last order... More

So it's a really good restaurant but I think it's to cold inside. We sit at the bar and you can communicate withe the chefs and I love it. Even if you not can speak you can point at the food. The Shushi and fish we really like and we have "uni" and its little out of the season but... More

It was a completely new experience. We were visiting Bangkok and my very good friend, Mr Som, invited my wife and I to have dinner in the Hanaya restaurant, near to his office. My first impression was a cherry tree in full blossom... so soft and delicate, it set the mood for the evening. The superb meal included the finest... More

We heard so many good things about this place, so we decided to visit on February 1st, 2016 for dinner. We ordered a sashimi plater - 2 kinds of fish in the platter stink, japanese omelet - very sweet like the sugar felt in there, cold somen noodles - very socky and inedible. At first we were going to order... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
