. Mitho Restaurant used to be on the ground floor of another building but, as a result of the damage inflicted by the April 2015 earthquake, the owner had to relocate the eatery to what was then the Camino Restaurant and Bar at the northwest corner of the Narsingh Chowk in Thamel. Its central location is one of its best... More

Mitho is now in the Camino Cafe in the centre of Thamel as the Mitho building was damaged in the earthquake. Food is just as tasty but just a different location. The manager KB is hoping to relocate back to the Mitho site later in the year..

I ordered the vegetarian Dal Baht, which is a typical food in Kathmandu. It is a bit spicy, as the vegetables are cooked in curry. The set I ordered also included a small dessert of bananas in yogurt, which was delicious. I also got a Plain Lassi. I spent around NPR400 for the whole meal, but i wasn't even able... More

Then we were walking and he saw this cozy place and said look Mami a restaurant ... Lest take a look of the menu! So he... More

The charming little restaurant is simply decorated but what comes out of the kitchen is a feast!! Mumtaj Kebab is my personal favourite but most dishes are excellent! Price are fair for the clean and healthy food they serve. Well pleased with this precious little diamond.......

Hard to share photos indeed, with my digital camera (300pix only). The feeling of candle night dinner was so impressive as a rather common experience in Nepal, yet a luxurious one back in my hometown in Hong Kong. No bad odor of burning candles in Nepal - the candle must be of fine quality.. Really miss that! About the restaurant... More

Our first meal in Kathmandu was here. Second meal was to another resto but we were disappointed. So we go back here and had the rest of our meals here during our stay in Nepal. All the dishes are excellent! And they have espresso machine for an excellent cup of coffee! Highly recommended!

Description
Mitho is a small cozy restaurant between Chhetrapati Chowk and famous Everest Steak House. Mitho means 'tasty' in Nepali and that is what we try to serve you: tasty and hygienic food in a homely environment. We serve different cuisines, ranging from Nepali, Indian and Chinese to Continental, and Italian. Off course we serve you fresh coffee's made by our Italian Espresso machine. Most of our staff are learning here. We provide training to uneducated young people to give them a chance for a job as waiter or cook in Nepal or abroad. A small training center / restaurant. We hope to see you at Mitho's!
