I own a hotel in western Nepal, so I don't get into Kathmandu very often. When I am in Kathmandu, I never have an excuse to go to the other side of the river, to Patan. The owners of The Lazy Gringo stay I my hotel when in Nepalgunj, so I really wanted to try their restaurant because I love... More

Friend from USA told me about this place. Ate there once and been back three times now. Heading back to Kathmandu and it is the first place I'm going. The Lazy Gringo is the biggest and best burrito ever. Weighs several pounds. Salsa is awesome. Need to cut the chips smaller and serve them warm. Be off the chart. Coming... More

Small and a bit hidden, but when you want to add a bit of variety to eating Nepali food every night (and I loooovveee Nepali food - so I cannot imagine needing the variety) try the Lazy Gringo. Prices run a few hundred rupees and the service is very good, fast and friendly. The music is American and the atmosphere... More

I'm honestly surprised at how good this Mexican food is for Nepal. I've ordered many things and continue to be impressed- it's all equally good quality and good taste. Even better value!

Man oh man.... if you are really missing Mexican food, GO TO THE LAZY GRINGO. Their steak enchiladas, queso, Oreo milkshakes, queso, and fajitas are amazing... did I mention queso! I probably ordered queso 5 times within a week and a half span. Don't expect the thin corn chips you get at regular restaurants but their thicker, almost pita like... More

We would happy to pay more if the food was delicious but it disappointed us. The dessert was much terrible than other. Fast service, good attendant but poor food!! Need to improve... More

Most milkshakes you find in Ktm are what the name suggests. However these milkshakes are thick and creamy. Perfect for consuming and cooling down. They are a bit on the costly side but well worth it. Recommended.

The staff were quite friendly. The chips were not corn, some kind of poor substitute. Bean dip was very watery. Very large chicken burrito with a portion of chicken that was so tiny it was not noticeable in the burrito, and filled entirely with rice and hot soggy lettuce. No fresh veg of any kind, no spices, no chillies, a... More

The food here was simply delicious! Great flavours and everything homemade and fresh. You can create your own burrito and choose your filling etc. (So if you are vegan, this is a great place!) I would recommend the nachos with both salsa and the bean-dip, and the burritos - which are fantastic with the combination of all the different flavours... More
