I had stumbled upon this joint last year and since I had loved the coffee here, I tried it again and was happy that I did. The blended mocha was great and brownie was delicious. Prices are quite reasonable too. The outside seating is a bit noisy but inside sofas are comfortable. Must visit if craving a good coffee after... More

Stopped in a couple of times. Great place in Kathmandu for a top coffee and a break from the dusty streets for a bit of a breather. Didn't eat any of the food but both savoury and sweets looked good whenever we were there. Staff are friendly and the seats are comfy.

If you love good strong coffee - come on down. From plain black, latte and for a special treat for the sweet tooth - honey latte. Good range, and pretty decent food to go with it.

Wandered around Durban Square for a few hours- started to get hot and tired. This place was a pleasant oasis. Iced Latte delicious. Service was good!

I spent five days in Kathmandu and one of my favourite days was spent mostly in this cafe. Nepal is very busy and if you are looking for a chilled day away from it all, then don't look any further than Java. First and foremost, the coffee is actually really good. It's difficult to find good coffee in Nepal but... More

There are couple outlets of Himalayan Java coffee in Kathmandu and we went to the one in Mandala walking street Thamel and one above North Face store. We spent 2 - 3 hours devouring the local grown coffee (french press, V60, latte and daily brew). The place are quite comfy with good vibe of people, lots of books to read... More

Visited the branch near the Garden of Dreams. Good place to sit for a bit on the balcony, and watch the activity on the street below. Decent food and good service.

We have to agree with all the other reviews - the chocolate walnut brownie is arguably the best brownie in Nepal let alone ever created. It's served slightly warm and it is oh so delicious. Blueberry cheesecake looks amazing but not quite as good as the brownie. Icecream shakes also delicious - nice to cool off in the hot Kathmandu... More

It is located in Thamel. This coffee shop offers variety of sandwiches and drinks. We tried the Honey latte and it was super tasty. It is very clean and quiet atmosphere. It is worth to visit.
