The place is very simple and on the edge of clean. The food was good: grilled lobster and fish with fries and tomato sauce. They ran out of bananas that day ... 20000 CFA per person is not cheap but it was a unique experience.

No lobster or langouste available. The fish was great, the shrimps overcooked. The side dishes were just okay: fries, fried bananas and a bit of tomato sauce. But 30 Euros (20.000 CFA) per person (beers included)? Give me a break! To compare: I am staying in Le Meridien Re-Ndama (probably the fanciest in town) where the dinner buffet costs 19.000... More

Marie is definitely chaud. She is a sassy, crazy lady who runs a tight ship. Her concept is clear and unique - come and you can have all the Regab beer you want and a big ole plate of lobsters, fish, and shrimp with a side of kickass fries, plaintains, and rice. You will not leave hungry. It is a... More

If you like lobster (langouste) you will love this place. It is a very simple restaurant, serving a single dish: lobster and fish skewers with your choice of side orders (fries, fried bananas) and a fixed price. Marie is a lovely lady who has owned this restaurant for many years, she takes very good care of her guests and the... More

Chez Marie is my favorite restaurant in Libreville! The atmosphere is very unique (being the carport of a house hidden in the middle of town). The owner is extremely nice and the food is great! All you can eat lobster = awesome! :)
