We were taken there by the boss of our Tour operator as a treat and farewell dinner. The place is completely packed with group tourists and is perhaps a standard prgramm fit for all tour itinerary. The cultural performances went on for hours after 7:30pm and was rather spirited and entertaining. The local cuisine is also quite agreeable as it... More

We went here with our son and daughter-in-law on our last night staying with them in Addis and although I was dubious about it being very touristy, it was absolutely brilliant. There were a few other visitors there but mostly there were local Ethiopians. Food was delicious - luckily the family know what to order so we had excellent food,... More

A traditional restaurant, geared towards tourists. It offers well prepared Ethiopian specialities as well as a traditional music and dance show. The music and dance was cancelled on the night of my visit due to the national mourning for victims of a stampede at a protest. Food was good, and shared a table with other visitors which was very pleasant.

This was a good experience to enjoy entertainment with a meal. We arrived around 7:00 and stayed until about 9ish. You can order off the menu or eat from the buffet. We weren't terribly hungry so we split a traditional Ethiopian dish. We tried the honey wine but were not impressed. We have several friends who like it so this... More

We went there on our last nite in Addis. The food is good, especially the buffet, though a bit pricey. The manager and staff do a good job. The decor is traditional like a hut, and the traditional dancers and songs were the highlight of the evening.

This was our first stop in the city and it was well worth it. Fantastic local fare with great service. The only downside was that it set the bar pretty high for food for the rest of the trip. The music and dancing was a lot of fun.
