My time at Bora bora beach club was enjoyable. I swam in the swimming pool just by Lake Tanganyika. I could swim in the Lake but as an armature swimmer the pool was more safe. The staff were are friendly and served very good food and drinks. I felt the place was gentle and quiet and as an academic it... More

What can I say! Decided to take lunch break at the wonderful bora bora. I highly recommend this spot when visiting Burundi . The food is tasty and comes in large portions. More importantly the view is epic. You can't go wrong eating at bora bora....

Nice place to relax, with comfy couches overlooking the lake. The pool was a little murky and not too inviting, but the view is beautiful and the beach is nice. Food and cocktails were good, although service was slow. It's a nice place to hang out for a few hours. Also check out the hotel next door for another (better)... More

Spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool soaking up sun and having some great cocktails. Then ate dinner in a nicely shaded area. Food and atmosphere were both great! The place achieves an upscale feel without being pretentious. The beach is also lovely - nice sand and you can buy ice cream nearby.

Its not the cheapest place by the lake to relax but it definitely worth a visit. Its a beautiful place to watch the sunset or simply relax. The only problem is the seating areas are not the cleanest and a lot of the times we are told "sorry we don't have...."

A very nice beach restaurant, where you can relax, swim...and that in the troubled times in Bujumbura. The burgers are very nice... the view excellent, you never think that you would be on the beach of a lake... the service quick and efficient

Nice small restaurant with a nice view to the lake. The menu is limited but in general is ok. Somosas are tasty and crunchy.

An expensive beach restaurant but features best food. With a swiming pool that over looks the lake, locally made seats abd cussions, natural sand and clean beach, bora bora is probably the best beach in Burundi. The crowd is usually expatriates

It is located on Road Uvira- Bujumbura next to Hotel Tanganyika. It has restaurant and 2 pools (one for kids). The environment is quite peaceful right on Beach. One must spend weekend noon on this beach place.
