For Angola standards, this is a reasonably priced place to have lunch and on top of that, the food tastes pretty good. Also, close to a couple of business hotels.

Often go here for lunch when in town. Generally a good selection of food, pay by plate weight. Was a bit disappointed yesterday because there was not the usual choice of puddings, but I guess this down to local shortages.

for lunch time you have a buffet with a nice choice of food, for dinner you could choose a la carte menu : you could sit inside or on the terrace, the prices are good for Luanda

Good place for the workday lunch, as during the week is mostly young professionals who work in the area Buffett offers a good variety Offers spacious and free parking Seating outside is a bit challenging as during the day it gets dusty from the heavy truck traffic outside and at night because of the mosquitoes Service is ok

Chitaka is well known for Business Lunch but it is not such a superb place to discuss business plans over meal. It is almost always crowded during lunch time. Their food quality is average and matches its pricing well. Not really a place i look forward to having lunch. Just OK for survival sake

Business lunch eatery , the " Weigh your plate contents" is a bit strange. Buffet type/ canteen appearance. Again like the rest of Luanda expensive beyond all reasoning

Make me thinking of the French equivalent Flunch except you weight and pay for what you eat. The choice was ok, but all looks like frozen food with no real taste. Obviously the price is more than Ok for a Lunch and service rather quick as you only queue and serve yoruself. They have 2 stores and self service on... More

Went to have lunch there while I worked in downtown Luanda and I was not impressed. The food is not great, service is below average and its way too expensive. The atmosphere is also average, and the food has no flavour, really too much hype and not enough quality.

I have before in this restaurant back to May 2013 and I found it very good value for money in Luanda. I went back three time last month (2 diners and 1 lunch) I was really positevely surprised. The service was nice, the food was good and the stuff was very friendly. I once even got offered a bottle of... More

I usually stay in the Presidente hotel, which is a 3 minute walk from the Chitaka restaurant so very convenient location for me! The first time I went there (lunch, buffet) I couldn't believe the prices...as we all know Luanda is a very expensive city (in my personal experience the most expensive I've ever been to, and that includes Tokyo!)...
