I went to this restaurant because I had been told they served game meat. I was surprised and pleased to discover such a beautiful restaurant with fine dining. I started with quail stuffed with mushrooms and pork, served with a blueberry sauce. My entree was Kudu Wellington. Both dishes were exquisitely plated and delicious.

We went to this restaurant on our last night in Victoria Falls. Definately more upmarket than some of the other restaurants in the area - but not overly expensive. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Although you cannot see the falls I imagine when they are in full flow you can hear them. We had a... More

We had dinner here on 24 October 2016 and both the food & service were great! We were initially seated outside but when the wind picked up, we were ushered inside where a talented pianist was performing on a grand piano. It made for a very romantic evening and great first night in Victoria Falls!

Liked the food and service - I had crocodile balls and mash - very tasty, my wife enjoyed her Kudu wellington. All washed down with a bottle of Splattered Toad sauingnon blanc.

Dinner at the restaurant was fun for meat eaters. There is a variety of meat dishes. For starters we had good chicken soup and stuffed quail which were quite good. The samosa was nice but only 3 small pieces For main course we had a good tenderloin that we had to return to get the way we wanted and the... More

I have only had dinner here once- but it was delicious, one of the best meals I have had in Victoria Falls. It is nice that they feature local game meat on their menu. I frequently enjoy their monthly Local's brunch which is also great. I am hoping to return again for dinner soon!

Went for dinner after booking last minute. The guy who spoke to us -Dalu was very accommodating. The food was first class and the waiters were friendly and efficient. Cherry on the cake was seeing elephants that were feeding right next to us! game viewing while having dinner!

We stayed at the Ilala Lodge for 4 nights, ate here each day for breakfast and twice at night. It's phenomenal by any standards, one of the very best restaurants in the world. Wine list is class and whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner it's of the highest standard

The food was very nicely prepared. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in particular. The most exceptional thing was that when I lost an earring, sitting out at a lovely table on the grass at night, the waiter was determined to help me find it -- using the light on his cell phone then searching the chair: and he did find... Went for dinner twice. First time the service was outstanding, and I had the blesbok which was absolutely delicious! The dessert, frangelico cheesecake was also delicious! Second time they did a good job. Food was very tasty yet again, service was solid but not as outstanding as first time round. Ultimately, a highly recommended restaurant where you're guaranteed a good... More
