staff a bit too keen to get you in. it's upstairs, fairly quiet standard tunisian 'international' food offering why does it call itself a Tea Room when it's a restaurant??

Fancy-looking cakes which tastes quite alright. Ordered a Désir (2.9tnd) and a Thè aux Amandes (3.8tnd). Was served by an African-looking waiter. Got a table in the streets. He was helpful and friendly with the wifi, etc. but when I tried to pay, he insisted I pay him directly outside, instead of at the cashier inside. He quoted "10.7 dinars"...... More

Why is it that cheese in Tunis doesn't melt? Regardless, when it came time to pay, the waiter told me my crepe and Diet Coke was 10 dinars. He stood very close while I looked in my wallet and got a 20 dinar note. Creepy. Then he just said thanks and walked off. I asked for my change. He said... More

My girlfriend and I were walking along looking for a restaurant when a waiter who spoke some English said they served food and showed us to a table outside. Not being able to see the menu properly, the waiter ran through the choices with us and then said they also did lamb couscous (which wasn't on the menu). After waiving... More

put on top floor on our own. no a-c down in faggy bar they do have a-c, but useless due to cancer addicts out-performing it. no menu - it's being re-printed, so it was a looong quiz to find out what might b on menu

Close to the Cathedrale de St.Vincente de Paul on Avenue Habib Bourguiba is a most wonderful French Patisserie where every delight you can think of is on sale from 1.5 Tunisian Dinar. The quality is as good as France but at a fraction of the cost. Sit outside and enjoy a patisserie and coffee (they provide it from two doors... More

I went there for lunch between meetings, and found the service good, the couscous poulet very tasty, and the bathroom nice and clean. The upstairs restaurant part has a nice view down onto the Bourgiba street below. The restaurant is also not far from the medina. I would recommend.

We had pizzas as it was the only place that seemed to do it. We ordered 3 and each had 15 min wait between them arriving. Not well cooked when they got here ( cheese not melted for example) but it was raining so the environment was good enough. Wouldn't recommend

We enjoyed a light meal as Tunisia beat Algeria in the Africa Cup 22-1-13. Lots of happy customers and good atmosphere, friendly (a few words of French go a long way). Would recommend. Just round corner from our hotel (Tiba), which I would also recommend if you like new and trendy, small hotels.
