Le Grand Cafe offers so many different choices in large 3 separate seating floors. We liked their pasta offerings. Please be careful that Le Grand uses harissa sauce (Tunisian hot sauce) in lieu of tomato sauce that if one orders a pasta with arabiata, it could be stingy spicy. Le Grand is very conveniently located on Habib Bourguiba where everyone... More

Sorry to say but I was really disappointed with this place. It does not live up to its name of Grand Cafe. I sat inside and I imagine on a sunny day sat outside it would be a lot better. Indoors though was low ceilinged and dark and felt like it could do with freshening up. I did not find... More

We had a nice cup of coffee here mid afternoon. Lots of smoking on the terrace that was rather unpleasant.

One of my favorite places in Tunis where you can sit and enjoy a coffee and enjoy watching the busy life of the Tunisians.

Lovely greenish view on the most famous street in Tunis "Avenue Habib Bourguiba" . I love their hot chocolate. Coffee is also delicious accompanied with a Crepe / Gauffre. I always sit outside : if its rainy , upper covered terrace is romantic. If its sunny it's beautiful to watch people from different walks of life passing by .

The place's name is a bit misleading because it is a restaurant as well. I can't count how many times I've been here. The best thing about this place is that it is totally non-smoking inside, which is, if you know Tunis, a sadly rare exception. Service is fast and the quality of products is good. If it is too... Whenever I am in the center of Tunis, I try to stop by at LE GRAND CAFE DU THEATRE for lunch or for afternoon tea. Their location is fantastic, in the middle of town, on an elevated deck and with colorfull umbrellas in Summer. Their team is really friendly and customer centric (albeit a little slow sometimes) and their menu... More

It sells its location-Being on the Ave. Habib Bourghiba. Other than its location, neither the food nor the beverages were unique or very very good to deserve the best cafe rate in Tunis. However the servant was very helpful. Have to add, the wc was awful. You may find much better cafe in Tunis.

Pizza and pasta was very good. Good prices. Good location and nice seating. We ate here three times as it was reliably nice food in a nicer more proper dining atmosphere than many restaurants on the main road. However, you couldn't get away from the cig smoke and the waiters were not friendly. Despite this, we would return.
