This is one of the oldest and best Indo-Pak restaurant in DAR. Nice ambience, good taste and service. Open kitchen - you can see your food being prepared. The chef gave us personnel advice on dishes. My favorite Bihari boti and Chole Chicken BBQ. Kadai chicken was ok ok

As the title suggest, this place is ideal for certain specialised dishes on certain days. The cook from Bangladesh knows his job well and ensures the uniformity in taste throughout the 15 years i have known him and the restaurant. There main starter dish is 'Bihari Kebab'. Whenever i go their for dinner i without fail order this dish. Its... More

The restaurant has all outdoor seating. The menu is impressive with everything from BBQ, Chinese, Indian flavors. We went for dinner and ordered Malai Chicken Kabab as appetizers, Bhuna Gosht and Chicken Fried rice with Parathas. The appetizer was extremely good with chicken pieces melting in your mouth. Bhuna gosht was very flavorful but the meat was not very tender.... More

Have been eating here since my childhood, but the place looks like its 100 years old. Their food is quite good but place needs a changeover to be honest. The environment inside is so dull as soon as you enter you feel you have aged.

There was a time i used to eat at Balis almost every 2 weeks. but since i have moved from Dar, I have only been there occasionally. In my last visit I observed that the place is in need of some renovation (furniture, wash basin). But on the bright side, the atmosphere hasn't changed a bit. Still the same old... More

This Indian restaurant has lovely food, which is nice, However the service is on great stake, the waiters are confused and do not know sometimes what to answer the client, as they are having lots of tables to cater and finally the service is poor. The restaurant is some how not client oriented as the food is nice so maybe....... More
