I'm usually all about budget hotels and restaurants. When I come to Tangier, there's one nice restaurant I do make the effort to go to: Le Nabab. It's the only time I really pay European prices when I'm there. When you go for this meal, you'll come away with more than just a restaurant experience because it's in the heart... More

After a short visit to Fes and my wife and I spent our last night in Morocco in Tanger before returning home the following morning. Our hosts at the lovely Dar Chams Tanja hotel had recommended this as good and authentic and it was. Right in the medina, we were met by Wijdane, our waiter for the evening who never... More

After a nice walk in the old town, we found ''le Nabab''. The place is Riad renovated with taste! Really nice and helpfull people working there. All the starters that we tried was good and fresh! And then the couscous royal and Tagines was amazing! Real marocan expirience!

The atmosphere is so relaxing, the food was incredible and they took wonderful care of us! We were given perfect recommendations on dinner selections and enjoyed a spot with the corner bench seating. It was perfect for a date night.

I eat there twice mainly for convenience and was served nothing special, a salad and a burger. Pretty tasteless. Service is slow and prices are high. Go to the 3rd floor of the shopping center and get a lot more fast food that is more interesting. The atmosphere is decent with open outdoor seating. Take a pass on htis place

A relaxing, wonderful peaceful place for eating with very nice decoration. Actually you think you are in Marrakech! But the menu is actually very short and simple, also the taste of the food is average. Nice and friendly staff.

Had dinner there in the Medina and enjoyed good food and wine. Would totally go back. Classic Moroccan dishes.

Wow, a thoroughly modern experience but with delicious traditional food. A cool/cozy environment and excellent cuisine, with a perfect balance of old favourites as well as a few modern touches. A total discovery in the heart of the medina - getting there is part of the fun!

Suggested by the hotel, we went to Le Nabab. A stylish but not polished ambiance, friendly staff, fast service. A light bill, at least for us: we chose the fixed menu at 199MAD, a bottle of wine (a white one, vinified in Morocco, 40km north of Casablanca more than decent). Pleasant atmosphere. What else to start this this staying in... More
