Set menu options - expect to spend about 40-50 USD without alcohol for a feast of several delectable courses in an enclosed courtyard, with live Oud playing in the background.
This place was made for groups / families as most of the tables are...nestled in semi private but rooms. Loved everything about this place!More
An outstanding restaurant (when you can find it)! Tucked away in the most unlikely of streets in the centre of the market in Rabat. The building inside is stunning with character and charm, you wont be disappointed.Traditional Moroccan food served with some excellent Moroccan wine...was delicious. Two set menus to choose from one with traditional couscous the other without priced at 440 or 550 dirums. Not for back packers but if you like great food at reasonable prices then you must try this restaurant. About £50 per person.More
One of our best meals in Morocco. The setting is beautiful and the food is outstanding. The service is kind and attentive. Reservations are recommended although we were seated with courtesy without them. There was music during dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the rich and typical...dishes and the attentive service. While we are an adult family group, this would be a good place for a romantic or special occasion dinner.More
The service is really good. The waitress spoke French and English. They have menus is English too. She was very helpful and professional.

The restaurant is in an old riad in the old city, it is a great experience for tourists....There is a musician playing arabic music with oud.
Make sure u make a reservation they do not have many tables.
There is a rooftop from where u can see the Oudayas and the river Bouregreg. Great view!More
Set among the medina, located in a difficult to find alley, this restaurant was highly recommended by our mid day guide. What a delightful surprise. We arrive a little late and knocked and knocked on the massive door. We feared we had been stood up...but a kindly waitress finally answer the door. Once inside we wandered through the narrow passageways into the central courtyard where a musician was playing traditional music on a lute for background atmosphere. We never made it to the roof. We were the only ones in the establishment for meal but it was Ramadan and no-one is suppose to be eating mid-day (Muslims only). Setting off to the side the central courtyard are several alcoves each containing a table , couch, and a couple of low chairs. All very comfortable. Service was excellent. The meal started with a drink (Moroccan green tea) which wass outstanding. That was followed by bread which was used to accompany several plates of vegetables and meats. I thought the was it but much to my surprise a huge plate of lemon chicken arrived that I thought I had no room for but after a small taste I gobbled down a large piece of the meat--Outstanding!!! Finally, dessert was served which I cannot comment on. Great experience. Outstanding and friendly service. Would definitely go again. Kids will be OK.More
This was actually an accidental surprise which was recommended by another chef from a restaurant we wanted to be in which happened to be fully booked. So off we traverser into the maze again and finally found its location. Menu is fixed set course meals....No a la carte and it’s priced at almost 550 dirham per person. Pricey yes. But the servings were huge, and my oh my, of our two weeks vacay in Morocco, this is by far the best and tastiest restaurant ever, hands down. And as usual, they too have vegetarian/vegan options (which was good for my wife). We usually don’t take home left overs but we did and had it reheated for breakfast again. Service was impeccable. And it’s rooftop had stunning views of the entire medina. All worth the money!More
After a long working day, what a relaxing place offering a wide choice of iconic Moroccan dishes nicely prepared and served in an exquisite atmosphere. It starts at arrival when your host guides you to the place from the entrance of the Medina in traditional...outfit holding a lantern. It ends with a little climb offering a lovely view of the Medina from the well arranged roof. A must in Rabat!More
Went there for a conference dinner
Organised by someone else - wasn't my choosing
No idea about price
Really tasty food
Nice view over Rabat from the room "garden"
Tucked away. Might be difficult to find...without a guide.
Many chairs set up precariously close to steps - tripped me once
Was surprisingly quiet place
Definitely worth a visitMore
