Le Goéland is a near-perfect incarnation of the fascinating layers of history and influences that shape the rich polyethnic Moroccan culture. While the menus are presented in French (both style and language), they incorporate Spanish, Moroccan, and other Mediterranean inspiration. Everyone's food (we were 7 for dinner) came out exactly as advertised, perfectly spiced, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Service... More

For a restaurant claiming gastronomic standards, the experience could be way better. First, there was a fork missing on the table and the waiter took forever to come get our order. We waited for a reasonable amount of time before getting served. The salad « Le Goéland » was delicious without any special taste to remember; The was way more... More

I've been there for a ftour with friends, the food was delicious, we appreciated the surrounding as well. But in a certain moment the manager's behaviour was so immature and haughty... that we left earlier than expected.

I first wasn't too happy when friends took me there. Disappointed as apparently from the menu it was rather French cuisine not Moroccan. But upon my request they served me some fish "Moroccan" style (not on the menu, creativity of the chef) that was just so delicious, with wonderful spices. The evening turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.

This restaurant is located outside city center. The interior design is elegant in white colour. We have ordered Gambas Piri Piri which has had a boring taste. The monkfish (lotte) was average. The Paella was looking boring and tasteless. The service was average. For starters we have received Anchovis ( small fishes) of the house. Do not expect too much... More

I was a guest on a business lunch so I have no idea about the pricing (Rabat is dirt cheap to Europeans anyway). I had a grilled seabream, excellently cooked and definitely ocean-fresh. The setup of the restaurant is cosy and pleasant, the service good and efficient. I would definitely return.

Most likely one of the best fish restaurants in Rabat. Somewhat pricy but definitively worth it. Try the fish baked in the salt crust, delicious.

Very quiet during the week but always good service. The fresh fish baked in salt is recommended - a bit pricey but good value.

One of the best places for fish-fans in Rabat. Good quality, service OK, lighting can be a bit on the dingy side.

Thank Froik
