Went here with 6 of my friends to relax. Lovely environment with a good selection of soft drinks. A bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area but I would say that it is worth it since the view from the terrace is really...More

One of the best places we had lunch in Morocco. We’ve been to the rooftop, ordered chicken and lamb tajines, a vegetarian sandwich and salad. Everything were great, on really low prices and friendly service. All these with a great view of the city and...More

This cafe is a right in the middle of a square, filled with hustle and bustle. The food they offer is both Moroccan and European, and is very reasonably priced. My husband ordered a lamb tagine, and I have a chicken tagine. Both were delicious...More

This is a sister restaurant to Nomad, which we also ate at. Cafe des Espices has more casual food... soups, sandwiches, omelettes. Not necessarily Moroccan food. Prices are less expensive than Nomad. The waiter recommended the Kefta sandwich which was good. Salads were also good....More

Traditional fare on a rooftop terrace close to the Djemma el Fnaa.Genuine taste, not too touristy despite the location, very reasonably priced. Not to be confounded with the "Terrasse des spices", ewhich has become a bit "Too Chic" and blase/ pricy.

Simple choices and a tight space for seats but you get a view of the Atlas Mountains. The staff are good humoured and the place is full of Tourists, so everyone is trying to enjoy their holiday and chill out. Not my #1 choice for...More

There's not so much dining options when it comes to the morning hours in Marrakech. The locals enjoy light bites (usually bread) in their breakfast regime so it's not such a thing to eat out and spend your salary on smashed avo. There's a few...More

This place used to bee a nice, quiet spot . Now it’s crowded and inhabitated by those who wants to watch and be watched. The staff are cool hipsters who prefers to serve their own kind. Extraordinary wiew from the terrace.

Nice view over Marrakech rooftops, go for sunset! The place is very small so I strongly recommend you to book in advance in order to get a table on the rooftop. The food is ok, but it's basically tagines and burgers so don't expect better...More

Description
In the heart of the Medina and Souks of Marrakech lies the Rahba Kedima spice square, where old women gather to pound henna for traditional tattoos and sell hand knitted hats, while seasoned vendors run the surrounding spice stores.
Within this setting is the now famed Cafe des Epices, the perfect meeting place and rest stop from the heat and commotion of the souks. The inexpensive menu is focused on the simple and fresh, offering teas and coffee, freshly made juices, sandwiches, salads and crepes. The design is correspondingly simple: deliberately paired down and basic in order to offer a peaceful resting place after the visual overload of the Souks.
Built over 3 floors, the top terrace offers great views over the square and surrounding Medina, the non-smoking 2nd floor salon is a great place to lounge and the ground floor and outdoor tables are fantastic places from which to watch the colourful comings and goings of the spice square market.
