Opulent, over the top, gorgeous, fun - this place was just great. The food was good, but it's beyond the point - go for the fabulous and ornate decor and wonderful service. We had a marvelous time and it's a special spot in our colorful world.

The Dar Yacout was highly recommended by friends and some trip sites but it was disappointing. The place is beautiful but there is no menu no even for drinks. You tell them if you want white or red wine and they bring the wine - good maroccon one. The food was chicken (!?!?!) and lamb - good but not what... More

This place was recommended by a colleague we trusted. We almost didn't make it to the restaurant as the way to get there consisted of narrow alleys that got some of my colleagues worried. When we finally got to the restaurant, we were glad that we'd taken our chances. What awaited us was literally a hidden gem, a wonderful palace... More

We went twice to Dar Yacout and the experience was beautiful, authentic and so classy. The service is impeccable, the wine bottomless, the entertainment interesting, and the ambiance is some of the best in the city. This is a quintessential dining experience in a stunning setting. I was so happy that a friend recommended this place to me. As like... More

It is expensive for Morocco (700 dirham/person) but one of the best (if not the best) dining experiences I have had. We live for memories and I will remember this place. FYI, you can drink as much wine as you like. We probably drank over two bottles and I had to cut the waiter off from pouring more.

+ attentive service + beautiful setting & nice band - food was ok. For me only desert was very tasty. The rest of dishes felt mediocre. - felt overrated. Paid 700 dirham per person. Only 1 person was drinking alcohol.

Like most of the alike places in Marrakesh, this one lack no tourists, but the roof terrace an the setting, makes a visit worth while. And while you can enjoy the very nice setting and the local artistic programme, for me, and I may say not only, the food was on the sweet side. Excellent service, good prices for what... More

A hidden gem in the middle of the Medina ... and hidden it is! And like with everything in Marrakech you can't imagine the splendor hiding behind the simple door. The food is absolutely brilliant - if you enjoy the Moroccan kitchen that is! I personally am not a huge fan of lamb but the lamb at Dar Yacout is... More
